August 23, 2016 at 9:00 am in reply to: Calendar Feed Not Validating due to random characters #1154818MargaretParticipant
Hi Cliff,
That’s interesting because just a few weeks ago, I inserted this same feed url into a MailChimp RSS campaign and it was working just fine. When you say you don’t support exporting events via RSS, does that apply to RSS email campaigns as well?
Thanks,
NickMargaretParticipantHi Nico,
Yes i’m referring to the description tag. Any idea how that could be getting added? It’s not something i’m adding myself and i’m just created a standard event in the calendar..
Also, the snippet did not work for us.. but I have my developers working on a solution for this themselves so i’ll see what we’re able to do there first.
Thanks!
NickMargaretParticipantHi Nico,
I have another question in regards to the RSS feed… Is there a way to remove this line from my feed? It appears in the content section of every event:
“The post Webinar: Get to know Argentina with Signature Tours appeared first on CCRA Travel Commerce Network.”
Here is the feed url: https://www.ccra.com/events/category/powersolutionsonline/feed
Thanks,

March 29, 2016 at 10:22 am in reply to: Eventbrite Ticket Registration section not showing on Frontend of WordPress Site #1095511MargaretParticipantHi Nico,
Everything is updated and i’ve walked through the setup tutorials again. The Eventbrite Tab is showing now, but I see two things…
1) When I click get authorization within Add-on API’s tab, it takes me to EB to allow but when i’m redirected back to my WP dashboard there is no Success message like it says I should see in the tutorial.
2) I’m able to import events now from EB, but i’m not seeing my events in the drop down menu. I know I can do this by using the Event ID, but that generates an entirely new event page.
MargaretParticipantThanks Nico! That’s another good question Limor. Would like to know that as well.
Another question I have:
Does this plugin send any type of confirmation email w/ ticket to the customer after they register for the event?
Thanks,
NickMarch 17, 2016 at 10:18 am in reply to: Eventbrite Ticket Registration section not showing on Frontend of WordPress Site #1090371MargaretParticipantI think I found the problem. I noticed our API Key has disappeard inside the WordPress Events settings. In your tutorial to configure Eventbrite Tickets Add-on, this is where I run into trouble:
“To easily copy this link from your site: just navigate to Events → Settings → Add-on APIs on the dashboard of your site, and copy the OAuth Redirect URL we’ve provided for you. If the OAuth URL is not identical on Eventbrite.com and your WordPress site, the plugin will not function properly!
Application Name and Application Description should have a straightforward name and summary that will make this app easy to identify as your list of apps within Eventbrite.com grows over time.”I checked Eventbrite and our EventsCalendarPro license and both say they are connected, yet there is no field to put the key inside of in Events → Settings → Add-on APIs. Infact, there is not even a tab for Add-on APIs.
Please let me know what I need to do to get these connected again!
Don’t know if this is needed anymore, but here are two live ones anyway Nico:

I’m waiting to hear back from my IT team on whether they have a dev site to check for plugin conflicts. I’m not sure about any updates on the website that could have triggered this..
I’m noticing that it’s not with all events just some… here are the EB settings and event pages for one working and one not:

Are there any issues with the System Information?

COMMON LIBRARY VERSIONMargaretParticipantHi Hunter!
Thanks so much – that helped us resolve this. The only problem is that it has caused a new issue:
https://www.ccra.com/events/month/
Our list view works great, but now the month view is blank.
Would there be a benefit to us upgrading to Pro?
MargaretParticipantWe are seeing the same issue. We have updated all plugins and re-entered our license key multiple times. This is KILLING us as we have many meetings that now don’t have a registration function 🙂
Anything you guys could do to help would really be appreciated.
