    Howdy Josh,

You can create a recurring extension of the event when adding/editing it. First create your event for Monday, specify the start/end times and so forth. Then click on the recurrence rules, select custom, and select Wednesday. Tell it to end on Wednesday so that it doesn’t repeat more than once. And there you go!

A comprehensive guide on creating recurring events can be found here (click me).

Are you able to get it setup now? Cheers!

For sure. We are considering implementing something similar in a future version. I just added it as an official feature request. Click here to cast a vote behind the idea and help drive it forward.

Perhaps by the time you need the feature it will have garnered enough votes to be officially implemented? Cheers!

    Howdy Tony,

Way to keep a weather eye on the changelog! Indeed that has been release. However, your theme has to support it. If a theme has been customized in the past it might not load the new organizers. What theme are you using? Is it up to date?

    Cheers!

    Howdy David!

On the Event List page by default an event will stay visible until its end time passes. So if you set the event end time to midnight it will disappear from the upcoming events at midnight. If you do not set an end time though, then it will disappear when the event starts at 7pm. It would be possible to modify this behavior though if desired.

If you need help modifying this behavior please feel free to open up a topic in one of our support areas. We or the volunteer on wordpress.org would love to help.

    Cheers!

    Howdy Josh,

That is basically possible using the recurring events feature of Events Calendar Pro. You can create an event for Monday, then set a recurrence or extension of the event on Wed. The only other option would be to create a Part A and B as you mentioned, which wouldn’t require Pro but would basically just be a naming format and not actually tie the two together.

Does that sound like it would work for you?

    Cheers!

    Howdy Tom,

I would love to see nocaptcha implemented in the calendar and have championed the idea on our team. Currently we have no plans to implement as you are the first user to request it. However, that can all change pretty quickly. Would you mind making this an official feature request by posting it to the UserVoice  page? From there others can vote their support for it.

    Cheers!

    Howdy Patty,

That’s some peculiar behavior. It appears something is override the output of tribe_get_start_time(). Likely this is a customization or tie-in plugin that has gone awry. In order to figure out which one/where it is, could you try a conflict test? This guide walks you through how to test for a conflict, and then identify what is conflicting.

in reply to: Change Previous Events Link everywhere #1007729

    Howdy Andrew,

The Previous Event link on the single event page is very easy to change using a theme override. You can create an override by following the steps in our Themer’s Guide (click here). The file you want to override is:

    /the-events-calendar/src/views/single-event.php:81

And on about line 80 you will see the function tribe_the_prev_event_link(). Replace that with your custom link.

Does that all make sense? Cheers!

    Howdy Anthony,

Thanks for detailing the problem. Is it possible you could share the iCal file you are trying to upload? If you could post a link to it in a private reply using the “Set as private reply” box, I would use the file to try and investigate what’s going on.

    Cheers!

    Howdy Angela,

Thank you for thoroughly detailing the issue and your troubleshooting steps.

We have an upcoming release to the Calendar, 3.12.2, that should fix this issue. it is currently undergoing testing and will be ready for release soon. When it is you can update and the problem should go away when you set a yearly recurrence pattern.

    Does that answer your question?

    Cheers!

    Thank you for trying that.

At this point we are probably left with two options:

    1. Could you double check that there are no errors in your browser console or PHP error logs? If there are, would you mind sharing them?
    2. You might double check with Enfold to see if their support staff has seen the is issue before, or is able to replicate it. As I said I am not able to replicate it with Pro and your page settings. But perhaps they are aware of a setting somewhere in Enfold that might be crucial to replicating this. I have searched any settings in Events Calendar Pro that might be causing your issue, to no avail.

    Cheers!

Awesome! I am happy I could help get you pointed in the right direction. It makes sense you’d want to show the total somewhere. If you do have questions along the way please let us know.

    Cheers!
