Thanks for using the Events Calendar Pro. I can help point you in the right direction. To Edit Events, Venues, Organizers, etc we have setup our own custom capabilities per WordPress Standards. So a role created by WooCommerce, might not have those permissions.
You can easily add them through a plugin such as User Role Editor.
That plugin will enable you to add the event capabilities to the Shop Manager Role.
You want to add the capabilities that have tribe in the name, such as edit_tribe_event.

Is it possibile with the pro version to create an event spanning more then 1 days, but non-consecutive?
I am afraid not. All the recurrences are set patterns. We are working on a more advanced system to handle multiday events such as what you describe, but I do not have a timetable on when they maybe added to the plugin.

I understand you are interested in selling courses using our EDD Tickets plugin. I think that is doable, but as I answer your questions I will try to make it clear of the limitations of the plugin, these limitation are for all our ticking plugins not just this one.
Would you consider selling courses via EDD tickets add-on?
I have seen many customers use our ticketing framework for this, so yes.
1. Course doesn’t happen online. It’s a traditional off line course like event.
No problem, it would actually not work very well for a course that is online without some major customizations.
2. We must be able to set max students, for example 30 max 30 students can take the course.
That is possible you could create a Student Ticket and set the stock to 30 and once all the tickets are sold it would show sold out.
There is not a feature to combine ticket stocks though. So if you wanted to sell only 50 tickets but wanted one ticket at $10 for members and one for $20 for non members there is no feature to combine their stocks, each would have its own.3. Students should be able to pay the course online. All the payment gateways that EDD offers should be available?
Yes we just add tickets, the entire payment process is handled by EDD.

1. What are the differences between standard and Pro version with regard to Venue pages?
In Pro we add Single Venue View and the Single Events Automatically link to it.
You can also see an example of the Venue Page is here:
http://wpshindig.com/venue/meetupery-4/It has venue information and then lists upcoming events under it.
That template can be modified following our Themer’s Guide as well.
2. Is there a way to create links to venue pages, such as in the menu or by using shortcodes to make directories of venues?
The venue’s are a custom post type: tribe_venue
So they all have their own links that you can add to a menu(like the one above). You could also create a custom loop for venues to show their links, that could be done as a shortcode as well.
In fact you should be able to find a shortcode that lists posts and then just modify it to find only the venue post type. And just so you are aware we try to help out on customizations with maybe a step or two depending on what is being done, but for the most part that is beyond the support we can provide on the forum.

I play around a bit with the css and came up with these two selectors:

I could not find this as a selector at least in my mini calender’s source code in my browser:

Let me know if that works for you. Might have to tweak the css a bit to get everything how you would like.

I understand your frustration with our support and compatibility with Genesis. I am also a Genesis user for over 4 years now and could see how some guides would help with integrating the two as it is not perfect. That does not help today, but I do have some information that may help out you or someone in the future.
Default Page Template working with Genesis
I would like to point out when using the “Default Page Template” Setting in Event > Settings > Display that if in the Genesis Settings your “Content Archive” settings is set to excerpt, the main event page will not work.The image shows that setting in Genesis.
If you set that setting to Content the Calendar will work with your default view set in the Genesis Settings.
I understand that is not always ideal to always have to set that to display full content on the archive pages so I came up with this filter for Genesis to do it.

That works on all the view pages of The Events Calender. All you have to do is add it to your child theme’s function.php.
Archive Page
As long as I have used both Genesis and the Events Calender I have always thought Genesis treated the main event page as an Archive Page, I do not think that has been a recent change.metaeitaly I hope this helps too.

\events-calendar-pro\views\pro\widgets\mini-calendar-widget.php
And then the related files in the directory. That layouts out how everything is setup.
Some good WP coding knowledge would definitely be required as well as php, css, and javascript for this customization.
I’m afraid that doing a step by step troubleshoot or explanation with you is beyond the support we can provide on the forum per our terms of service.

Sorry for the redirect issues you are having with the redirects. We can help you out here.
First are you able to delete the plugin using ftp or through your cpanel to get the login working again?
Also are you using Multisite with the plugins.
Let us know about those two and we can go from there.
Also when you come back to us with more information can you please create a new ticket as we are able to better help you on your own ticket and jholliday gets emailed every time we post here and I am sure jholliday would prefer not to have that happen.
So I am closing out this ticket, but claghorn please let us know so we can help you out and get this resolved.

MemberThank you for creating a new ticket. I understand what you were trying to do now, before I thought if you were asking if the bug had been fixed.
Before that message was being place on every order email and out fix was to set it just for orders with tickets in them.
There is a filter to change the message.
I created this coding here and that should get you close to what you are looking for:

Just drop that into your theme’s function.php file.
That removes the message, but you could add your own by place text between the quotes here:
$tribe_ticket = '';Let me know if that works for you.

Sorry for the issues your client is having.
I looked through our bug tickets and we fixed this issue about a year ago. So by version 3.4 and beyond this has been fixed.
I also tested on the current version of the plugin and that message did not show for me on a regular product without tickets in it.
What version of WooCommerce Tickets are you using?
Can you make a copy of the email with the message people are getting?
Are you able to reproduce the message yourself by doing a test purchase?
Also can you clarify this statement:
My clients, using this plugin, don’t have tickets for their events
