It appears that the issue with venue listings was corrected with the latest
update this morning. Apparently only the venues I actually created were
available to select from. Now I can see all of the venues created on my
    site.

    Thank you!

Sorry, I didn’t explain the second issue very well. When I enter a new
event and try to select a venue, the venue does not appear in the Select
Venue drop down list and the “Create:” box appears. I’ve even pasted the
name of the venue in the box but it still prompts to “Create”
This is one that didn’t work
    [image: image.png]
This is one that did work
    [image: image.png]
I have 876 venues, but now only about 50 of them are available to choose
from in the dropdown list. I am sorry I can’t remember which specific
venue came up “this venue is Locked”

On issue number 1: The 404 error was reported in Google Webmaster tools
(now known as Google Search Console), reporting under Crawl Errors.

Sorry, there was a code error with the https:// that has now been corrected. My Search Console still reports craw errors 404 for organizers and event venues that do not have upcoming events. Here are a few more examples:
    https://texomaconnect.com/texoma-easter-events/
    https://texomaconnect.com/venue/bon-appetit-yall/
    https://texomaconnect.com/venue/bridgeview-marina/
    https://texomaconnect.com/organizer/texoma-powerboat-association/
    https://texomaconnect.com/organizer/van-alstyne-chamber-of-commerce/
    https://texomaconnect.com/venue/downtown-sherman/

These show No Result found which is normal, but why do they throw a 404 error and can I do anything about it?

Also, not all, but the majority of the venues and organizers are “locked” and do not appear in the dropdown list when entering a new event. I’ve double checked and the venue is “Public” in the Venue list. I deleted and restored the Advanced Post Manager plugin and still doesn’t show the venues or organizers in the dropdown list.

Thanks – you are the best!

I forgot to mention that the end of day cutoff is set at 2 am but 11:30 pm is the latest end time that works. I can change the end date to the following day but I really don’t want this event to end on a different date.

Thanks, I found the problem. It was a setting in the Advanced Ads plugin.
I had Archive pages turned off. Flipped it back on and everything works

After the most recent updates, a lot of the scheduled imports show
“pending”. Still can’t do a manual import. Really frustrating because I
don’t know what has imported and what hasn’t.

    Courtney,

I performed the plugin and theme test and “Run Manual Import” didn’t
function correctly with all plugins deactivated. I enabled the WP-DEBUG
Mode and no problems were detected. No errors were reported. A few
Scheduled Imports will import but the majority fail. In Scheduled Imports
Imports show *unknown *for the last date when an import fails*. *In
    *Scheduled
Imports* I try to *Run Import* manually and it shows “Successfully queued 1
scheduled import” at the top but it shows * Unknown* in the last update
date and “Failed” in the History.

    Example:
In Scheduled Imports I selected “Run Import” for Facebook Source titled
Rockey and the Bullwinkles (a local band). *Last Import* column shows 1
minute and under *# Imported *column, 35 all time, Latest import 1, Updated
    1. When I toggle to the *History* Tab, this manual import has a red
circle with a ! inside – message reads “Import failed: The import being
fetched is not queued up for importing. Please try the import again.”

I don’t know anything about writing code or working with php. I use
GoDaddy Managed Hosting. I enabled the DeBug Mode on the Tribe Help page.

I tried to check for Javascript errors by using the Firefox Console but I
have absolutely no clue about what any of the results mean.

    Cliff,

Yoast is also working on a solution and a question they asked is what code
I entered. APM came to me along with the Events Upgrade in a zip file. I
started searching on the Plugin Page under View Details on the Installed
Plugins page and found under FAQ a remark that this plugin was for
developers and wouldn’t work without the additional code. I never could
find any information on what the additional code was and when I clicked on
the links on ScreenShots it returns a 404 error code.

This is totally different from the APM Plugin Page that I get if I do a
    Google Search for APM Plugin:

    Advanced Post Manager

    This page doesn’t
mention any code at all although it does say that the plugin is for
    developers.

I have been using Advance Post Manager for a long time and never had a bit

I deactivated all plugins except Yoast and Tribe – still didn’t work. I
deactivated Yoast Premium and installed the free version. Still didn’t
work. I loaded the Edit Events after each trial and the Advanced Post
Manager didn’t return expected results. Thanks so much for all of your
    efforts. bj

I performed the plugin testing and it seems both Advanced Ads/Advanced Ads

    Hunter,

I switched to the WP 2014 theme and that wasn’t the problem. I reentered
the license keys and that didn’t solve it either. I removed all plugins
and tested the Aggregator again, still get the Buy Aggregator option and no
access to Facebook or other event sources. I even tried to .As you can see

This is totally unacceptable. 404 error alerts in Webmaster Tools is a serious problem. User experience is a serious problem. I have over 1400 errors a week and Google warnings appear in my email regularly. Trying to “fix” these errors is an almost overwhelming task and robs me of time I need to be spending on updating new events. There has to be a better way, or maybe there is a better plugin. I strongly urge you pay attention to the needs of your customers and hope you will make every effort to fix this problem.

Thanks Brian, it was a minify plugin that was causing the problem. I thought I had disabled them all but guess I missed this one the first go around. Thanks for the quick response. Everything is working correctly now.
