Hi Jaime,
Please disregard second question, I can confirm the following:
Eventbrite API
A WordPress plugin that integrates the Eventbrite API with WordPress and Keyring.Version 1.0.12 | By Automattic | View details
Caylee MiglioriniParticipantHi Jaime,
One more question, can you let me know where I can look to confirm this:
“Are you using the Eventbrite API plugin that you have by Automattic to add Eventbrite events to your site in addition to ours?”
Caylee MiglioriniParticipantHi Jaime,
Thank you! I will work on the noted items, in the meantime, can you send over instructions/screenshots of how to get to the specific info you are requesting below:
“Can you also take a screenshot of how your import is set up, so that I can confirm if things are set up properly?”
Thank you!
Caylee MiglioriniParticipantHi Jaime,
Thank you! It appears that the Events Calendar and Eventbrite plugins are current (there is no indication within WP that updates are needed). We have the following:
-Eventbrite API
-Events Calendar
-Events Caldedar PRO
-Events Calendar Shortcode
-Events Calendar: Eventbrite TicketsIn terms of the issue still existing in the bare WP environment, I can confirm that. We followed the instructions provided in ‘Test if there is a conflict” and ran the Twenty-sixteen theme with all plugins deactivated except for those listed above. When then attempt to import in WP, we still received this message:
“Unable to process this import – a breakage or conflict may have resulted in the import halting.”Would you mind sending me the instructions for import? I want to double check that we have things integrated properly and are following the correct steps. If you have any other suggestions or if there is a possibility of doing a phone call to troubleshoot, please let me know.
Caylee MiglioriniParticipantHello,
Since our last message, we did create a staging site. Unfortunately, our issue still persists at this time. We have gone through the “Test if there is a conflict” steps and were unable to identify a conflict. That is, the source of the conflict was not identified successfully so we are unable to proceed to the “Look for a solution” steps.
From there, we proceeded to downloading the Health Check and Troubleshooting plug-in and running it, it is still not clear where the problem with the EventBrite and Event Calendar issues are. It did provide some information where other issues may exist. Wondering if any of the following items returned in the Health Check, may have something to do with our issue:
– Plug-in versions: Your site has 5 plugins waiting to be updated.
– Scheduled events: A scheduled event (tribe_events_pro_process_recurring_events) has failed to run. Your site still works, but this may indicate that scheduling posts or automated updates may not work as intended.
– Background updates: A plugin has prevented updates by disabling wp_version_check().
– Loopback request: The loopback request to your site failed, this may prevent WP_Cron from working, along with theme and plugin editors.
Error encountered: (0) cURL error 28: Connection timed out after 10000 millisecondsThank you for your help!
Caylee MiglioriniParticipantThat makes sense. Unfortunately we don’t have a staging site made yet (though I’m working on that) and we certainly don’t want to do these steps on the live site.
Are there issues with using The Events Calendar Pro on both the LIVE and STAGING site? Can I do the same with the Eventbrite license?
Caylee MiglioriniParticipantThank you. I think my initial problem/issue has been fixed so we can close this out. Should other questions arise in terms of customizing the LIST WIDGET template – I can open up a new ticket then. (Unless you’ve got other processes I should follow.)
Caylee MiglioriniParticipantYes (thank you!). I was able to use the instructions above to better customize the LIST view on my page(s). However, after a bit more digging – this is more of what I was referring to before (see screen shot):
[tribe_events_list category=”category_name” tribe-bar=”false” limit=”3″]
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/pro-widget-shortcodes/#event-list-shortcode
I think I can work with the CSS to tweak this to what we need.
Caylee MiglioriniParticipantWell then. I feel a bit foolish. I should’ve seen that. Thank you!
Quick follow up question: I was playing around with the various views and such last week and somehow got my events to display with the DATE to the left, TITLE in the middle… something like the attached (which was designed by an outside vendor for another one of our sites but also using The Events Calendar).
Or am I thinking of a something else?
How customizable are the list option(s); particularly the LIST view?
Caylee MiglioriniParticipantJust changing the REPLY status since a few people have access to the email box associated with The Events Calendar account. I can just check back here for responses.

So we went through these troubleshooting steps: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
We figured out that this is a theme issue, not a plugin conflict issue. We have our web guy going through this themer’s guide: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
Is there anything else that he should be looking at?

We have set up our test site and added in our event. The same issue again. The event is showing up in Eventbrite as a live event but the Eventbrite iFrame isn’t showing up.
Here is our test site event link: http://10.3.2.220/basis-test/event/school-tour-2/
And the Eventbrite that was created: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/school-tour-tickets-38052820009September 18, 2017 at 12:17 pm in reply to: Eventbrite and Registrations for the Events Calendar #1350826Caylee MiglioriniParticipantHere is the event link: http://www.basised.com/basis-test/event/sample-event-6/
And it’s connected with this Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/school-tour-tickets-37708457010Unfortunately, we aren’t able to do the plugin troubleshooter because our site is multisite and all interconnected. This means that changing the theme on one site would change the themes on all sites. Additionally, our plugins are connected site wide and can’t be turned on and off on just one page.
We’re in the process of creating a second test site that is an exact duplicate of our current site. We would like to bring the plugin over to the test site to troubleshoot, but now we’re concerned that we have already used the license key and may not be able to uninstall the plugin from the original site to reinstall on the test site.

Apologies!
We went through the setup process. Got the success message and everything. When we set up an event through the plugin and link it with Eventbrite, the event shows up within our Eventbrite but it doesn’t show the Eventbrite iFrame on our website. We have been able to set events to live and integrate them.
Our main issue is the iFrame not working.
Could it be the layout of our page?
