I guess someone/thing is interfering with us 😉
I uploaded the file via WeTransfer.

ParticipantHi Geoff,
Thanks for your reply. I will just wait patiently and see what happens. I am covered now by the old TEC Pro 3.12.6, so in essence I am doing good 🙂
Just let me know when the version with JSON LD support is released, I would appreciate that.
Thanks for everything!

ParticipantHi Geoff,
Well that sounds like a plan 🙂 Does that mean the JSON script will be included in the widgets by default? As the reason why it has been taken out was that a lot of people have been complaing about the visible events snippets in Google. At least, that is what your colleague told me half a year ago.
I am looking forward hearing from and notified by you!

ParticipantHi George,
Thansk for helping me out and making such a sweet offer 🙂 With regard to Jupiter theme support, they state that the related posts functionality is based on the default WordPress functionality, and therefore it is ‘my problem’ basically. I can have the problem fixed by hiring somebody from their company to rewrite the coding 🙁
If you would like to take a quick look into it, that would be awesome. And if you find nothing, then it is what it is, which is also OK.
Thank you in advance, I will send you an e-mail.

ParticipantHi Cliff,
I am following your line of reasoning, thanks.
I would be awesome if you would leave a message when a tutorial to implement rich snippets for widgets is ready.
Thanks.

ParticipantHi Geoff,
Thanks, and with regard to the PRO version, just browse to /plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/widgets and copy list-widget.php to the 4.X version folder? Is that all?
I only make use of the event list widget.
Thanks in advance,

ParticipantHi Geoff,
Well, the post you are referring to is actually not a solution as in that case there are events found in the Google Testing tool, though not with individual URLS.
In my case, at this moment, I do not find any hcalender or events at all. So tweaking the file will not help.
However, I have a very extensive theme called Jupiter and since I updated the theme from V4 to V5 I am have several conflicts on my website so I decided in my sleep last night to reinstall a backup again 🙂
Which also means I will go back to TEC Pro version 3.X. I experience now that updates not always mean progress but also can be time consuming.
Are there any security issues with TEC Pro 3.X that I should now about?
Thanks

ParticipantHi Brook,
Thanks for your elaborate reply. I think it has resolved my issue as I find 4 hcalendar entries per inserted event URL. And 3 for all the ‘normal’ pages. Let’s wait and see 🙂
With regard to location of the file I had to alter, I guess you mean “wp-content/plugins/events-calendar-pro/src/views/pro/widgets/modules” You forgot the /widgets/ part 😉
Last, during testing with the Structured Data Testing Tool, I found 2 hcalendar errors: the website URL from the organizer and venue were not inserted properly. I always prefer http://www.forexample-smt.com instead of http://www.forexample-smt.com. Apparently The Events Calendar does not correct the URL without http:// automatically. Perhaps an idea for a future update?
The URL of the event under details/data is automatically corrected on the other hand.
Thanks for your everything!
Best regards,
BarkBark
ParticipantAwesome Vincent! I am really grateful to you. Thank you.
In order to complete the alteration, I also had to delete this part in my newly formed address.php file:
// This location’s postal code.
if ( tribe_get_zip( $venue_id ) ) : ?>
<span class=”postal-code”><?php echo tribe_get_zip( $venue_id ); ?></span>
<?php endif; ?>Otherwise I would end up with two ZIP codes in the meta information box 😉
