Nico,
Thanks, keep me updated.
Preventing the sync works for now.

Featured image size is 250 x 150.
Here is the Eventbrite link: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2nd-annual-aiabaltimore-celebrity-chef-night-tickets-22550784002
And here is the event on my website: http://www.aiabaltimore.org/events/2nd-annual-aiabaltimore-celebrity-chef-night/
Thanks,
Nathan
Kathleen LaneParticipantThanks Geoff!
Kathleen LaneParticipantWorked like a charm. Thanks, George!
Kathleen LaneParticipantI figured it out! The problem is the code used to move the ticket box to the position before the content as detailed here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-the-eventbrite-tickets-box/
Now that the snippet no longer works in the current version, is there a workaround? I prefer having the content box before the content because it’s easier for visitors to find.
Thanks,
Nathan
September 5, 2014 at 7:12 am in reply to: How do I show a list of specific events on a separate page? #724525Kathleen LaneParticipantThe plugin you recommended is fantastic! Will make things easier beyond my current issue. Is it possible to use the shortcode to customize the number of events to display? It’s only displaying 5 events.
Thanks!
Kathleen LaneParticipantJosh,
I tested it and figured out that the issue is chaging $start_date = date( ‘Y-m’ ); to $start_date = date( ‘2014-10’ );
My goal is to have a page where only events from October show because our October events are for a special promotion. I tried working around this by pasting the “fast forward” code as is and using a filter for my October events. However, the fast forward code seems to override the filter and any specifications I make when configuring the widget.
Kathleen LaneParticipantSure,
Here’s the website: http://www.aiabaltimore.org/committees/baltimore-architecture-month-2/
And here’s the code I used: https://gist.github.com/ndennies/8225a83ad47e30f04748
Thanks!
Kathleen LaneParticipant:: UPDATE ::
After another day of fiddling with these issues, I got Eventbrite to import events, and resolved the time-zone/incorrect event times. I still haven’t gotten the events to show up as blog POSTS, just events. Include in blog loop checked or unchecked makes no difference.
Thanks in advance for your help!
CarolineKathleen LaneParticipantAfter a day of fiddling with these 3 plugins, I have a couple more issues and I don’t know how to implement the coding solutions–
1. the include in blog loop option does not work (events not show up as blog posts)
2. Events imported from Facebook have incorrect times (+4 hours)Very frustrating! Even though I *can* find solutions on GISThub, it may as well be in another language because I’m not a developer, and don’t know where/how to insert that code into .php etc.
I am at a loss since we paid for the plugins but thus far cannot use them!
Thanks again,
Caroline -
