Hey folks,
We came across a reported issue that some of you may experience when updating to The Events Calendar 4.2 and want to let you know that we’re looking into it.
The issue seems to affect those who update Event Tickets to 4.2 before updating The Events Calendar from 4.1.4 to 4.2. The result can be a fatal error, which is not just scary sounding in itself, but a legitimate issue that we want to help others avoid.

For now, we recommend that you update The Events Calendar before updating Event Tickets. For those of you who have already updated and are experiencing the error, then we suggest manually reverting back to The Events Calendar and Event Ticket 4.1.4 and reinstalling in the recommended order from there.
We’ll continue to keep you posted as we learn more about this issue. We’re actively working on it and hope to have it cleared up very soon.
