Maintenance Release for the Week of 2 December 2018

Welcome to maintenance release number 17 of 2018! If this is your first time getting an update from us, Maintenance Releases are smaller updates between major releases, and are mostly comprised of bug fixes, tweaks, and small (but meaningful!) improvements. We always recommend using a staging site to test these changes before updating on a live site.

The Events Calendar 4.7.1

• Feature – Added additional caching to TEC REST API archives and the Post Repository event/venue/organizer responses

• Fix – speed up and improve robustness of the asynchronous process feature detection code
• Fix – Importing CSV files with whitespace at the beginning of the rows won’t remove headers and skip columns on Preview

Community Events 4.5.15

• Feature – Added a new action, tribe_community_events_before_form_messages, to allow easier addition of content before various form messages are displayed
• Fix – Ensure images can be removed from events after uploading them–on both the submission form *and
• the edit form for already-submitted events
• Fix – Ensure that fields required for Organizers work on both the submission form and the edit-Organizer form
• Fix – Prevent event-status tooltips from being cut off in the “My Events” list on the front end

Community Tickets 4.5.7
