The Events Calendar 4.3 and above comes with an importing tool called Event Aggregator. Anyone can use Event Aggregator for free to import information from a CSV file. Users who have purchased a license for Event Aggregator can import from more sources (including Google Calendar and iCalendar) and can set up automatically scheduled imports.
The steps below will help you get started with Event Aggregator. Follow the links to more detailed tutorials.
1. If you haven’t already, download and install The Events Calendar. If you are new to The Events Calendar, there is a whole new user primer dedicated entirely to that plugin to help get you familiarized with it.
2. If you purchased a premium license for Event Aggregator, you’ll need to input your license key. This will unlock access to automatic imports and extra import sources.
If you do not purchase a license, you will still have access to import events from a CSV file using Event Aggregator, but no other services will be available.
3. Configure your settings. You’ll want to configure the options under Events > Settings > Import so that Event Aggregator imports information in the way you want.
4. Start Importing! You’ll find Event Aggregator under Events –> Import. Free users can import data from a CSV file. Premium users can import events from other websites and calendars including iCalendar, Google Calendar, Meetup, Eventbrite and sites using The Events Calendar. They can also import from an ICS file.
