Hey there! We just shipped a quick maintenance release for Event Tickets and it features added support for The Events Calendar’s 5.0 release, which is a huge redesign of all the calendar views.

Before we jump into the changelogs, it’s worth mentioning that this round of updates is a maintenance release. In other words, this is a smaller update between major updates and is mostly comprised of bug fixes, tweaks and small, but meaningful improvements. It should be safe to update without breaking changes, but we always suggest backing up your site as you would with any WordPress update.

  • Tweak: We have added support for views redesign in The Events Calendar 5.0.0.
  • Tweak: We have added a new tribe_events_is_current_time_in_date_window() function that checks if the current date and time are within a post’s ticket availability window.
  • Language: 0 new strings added, 94 updated, 0 fuzzied, and 0 obsoleted
