Hi Victor. I read what you write about the new Facebook Policies and the last point tells:
We can only import from single event pages (facebook.com/events/123456789) if the connected account has clicked the “Interested” button for that event
Please can you explain to me this point?
this means that each is not anymore possible in “automatic” mode (planned mode) to retrieve an event from a FB page and i have each time to open this page and click the “interested” button to have the possibiity to retrieve that event?
I have a 1000 events plan in Event Aggregator Plugin and maybe this means that i have to visit every day 1000 FB pages and click on the “Interested” button on the single event of every page?
if so i believe the complete meaning of the Event Aggregator Plugin is lost and many of your customer (included me) will have to close their site and business.
please let me know if i misunderstood.
thank you Gaetano Vaffangiro
April 9, 2018 at 4:22 pm in reply to: after the last events tribe plugin update fetching events from FB fail #1501064Hi Victor. If i try to fetch events from a facebook user everything goes well. The issue is when i plan the retrieving of events from facebook. In the chronological History you can see that every fetching fails.
In this situation my site is wasted and no customer would like to browse it since no events is updated.
please help me to understand how to solve this situation.

April 6, 2018 at 10:20 am in reply to: after the last events tribe plugin update fetching events from FB fail #1498908Hi Victor, Thank You. I have this problem about planned programmed events import, not about a single event import, if you see the history of my programmed imports you can see that several imports are failed.
thank you Gaetano Vaffangiro

Hi Jaime, here i put the screenshot about Settings/General. I hope by this you can help me to solve my problem.
thank you Gaetano Vaffangiro
I Jaime. I’ve done what you asked me but nothing is changed. The only thing that jump to my mind is that this problem could be connected to the fact that i have these lines in WP-CONFIG file:
define(‘WP_HOME’,’http://www.vaffangiro.it’);
define(‘WP_SITEURL’,’http://www.vaffangiro.it’);could be these causing the problem?
i had to put these lines because i could not reach my site without these lines. But now if i remove these lines i cannot anymore reach my site. have you an advice about the reason of why without these lines i cannot reach my site and if this could be the reason whi cannot set my permalinks?
thank you Gaetano Vaffangiro
hi Jaime i used the method: Primary Method: WordPress Settings → Reading
Front Page: Main Events Page
Post Page: TESTthis time i created a page with the shortcode to display my events (name of the page TEST) and i used
My Events Slug and Single Event Slug are set to:
events
event
my permalinks are:
http://www.vaffangiro.it /%postname%/
but in any case i get the message: The requested URL /events/ was not found on this server.
if i erase the “Event Slug” field and i don’t put anything inside i can regularly get the page with every event but if i try to open any event i get the message i.e.:
The requested URL /event/accademia-teatro-franzato-2017-18-23-ediz-varese-cuasso-porto-37/ was not found on this server.
please have you any idea of what is happening?
thank you very much Gaetano Vaffangiro
Hi Jaime, i intend to locate my Calendar Page on my Homepage.
My Events Slug and Single Event Slug are set to:
events
event
my permalinks are set to http://www.vaffangiro.it/%postname%/
with this settings i get the following error:
The requested URL /events/ was not found on this server.
thank you for your help
Gaetano Vaffangiro
sorry for the delay but i was reading the documentation About permalink and other to understand what was my mistake.
the problem is that when i enable permalink and my “Events URL slug” is set to EVENTS (and the prefix for single event is EVENT) i get the following error “The requested URL /events/ was not found on this server”.you told me that is because my events are under my homepage so, since i’d like to keep them under my homepage i erased the field “Events URL slug” and the “Prefix Single URL” so i can view my events in homepage
now the real problem is that now i cannot go inside any single event since i get the following error:
Not Found
The requested URL /tribe_events/amami-giornata-europea-della-musica-antica/ was not found on this server.please can you check for me what is the solution? you can access to the dashboard of my site if you .
thank you Gaetano Vaffangiro
Hi Brendan, i inform you that maybe the issue is solved: i substituted the abstract.php file and now erything seem to work fine.
thank you Gaetano Vaffangiro.it
Hi Brendan I’ve done everything you told me but the problem still persist.
I left enabled only “events Calendar” and “eventsCalendar Pro” after i have reinstalled them. I changen theme but nothing to do: my import from facebook does not import any photo and give me the error:Notice: Undefined property: WP_Error::$post_id in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Aggregator/Record/Abstract.php on line 2377
please can you help me i’m stuck with this bad behaviour.
best regards Gaetano vaffangiro.it

November 14, 2017 at 4:30 pm in reply to: ERROR – The import being fetched is not queued up for importing #1383079Thank you for your answer but please let me understand. Do you mean that the automated import of events is not working? this is one of the main feature of Events Calendar and if so the sites of mine and many other customers are stopping to work. If my customers see that the events are not updated they will stop to come to my site and i will loose them (i believe i’m already loosing them for this reason).
