ParticipantThat makes perfect sense why it doesn’t function the same way as WC product pages. Would be a great feature to have, though, one day. Thanks
Tony
ParticipantThanks Barry. I’m checking with the folks over at WT. Will let you know what I find out.

ParticipantI’ve been playing with this more and see that it actually orders tickets from the bottom to the top. So, the first ticket type entered in the event configuration will appear at the bottom of the list of ticket types on the front end. Is that right? I’d still like to see a push for being able to change the menu order, especially, if we later decide to add another ticket type but don’t necessarily want it displayed at the top of the list on the front end. Thanks
Tony
ParticipantAnd along the same lines, is it possible to have a parameter that takes into consideration the total ticket sales/combinations for a particular event. For example, we’re at a venue that holds 100 people but we have adult tickets and youth tickets at different prices. We want inventory to remain fluid, e.g., maybe 60 adults/40 youth or 33 adults/67 youth, and adjust automatically up to a total of 100 tickets without having to -1 from adult inventory when a youth ticket is sold. I realize this is more complicated request but would be a great feature for a future release.

ParticipantI would also like to see an option where the purchaser of multiple tickets has the option of listing names associated with those tickets.
Another question I have is once someone purchases a ticket, is there a way to DELETE that purchaser? For example, we run some free volunteer events for which we need people to register. If someone later tells us they cannot attend, is there a way to remove that “purchase” from the attendees report? The only options I could see were ‘check in’ and ‘uncheck in.’

ParticipantThanks Barry. This works, kind of…what it does is add the previous and next links where I place them but my original links (without the “previous” and “next” link text) still appear. So I get one set of links…one without previous/next and one with previous/next.

ParticipantBah, the relevant code didn’t come through but you can see the instructions on your previous post http://pastebin.com/X95La2Bi.

ParticipantStellar as always, Barry…both revisions worked. Thanks! One last issue I just noticed: at the bottom of single events (http://bit.ly/Q84a50), I’ve lost the previous and next event navigation labels. The events with their hyperlinks appear just not the indication of “what” those links are.
When we edited the php file, we added:
” . __( ‘Pages:’, ‘woothemes’ ), ‘after’ => ” ) ); ?>
What, if anything, do I revise here (or does that occur in another file?) so that “previous event” and “next event” appear on the front end?

ParticipantBINGO! Thanks a ton, Barry. Two more (very minor) things I hope you can help me with.
1. We have the mini-calendar displayed on our home page at http://www.advancingcompassion.org. Over the previous/next month arrows I can see the two individual months. Is there a way to hide or remove the text?
2. On individual events, I’m unable to shift the padding/margin for “<<Back to Events" to create space between it and the event title. You can see an example of that, here: http://www.advancingcompassion.org/event/san-diego-aids-walk-team-acp/
Thanks for all your continued excellent support!

ParticipantAlas…I now have single events with correct margins but two things are missing from my screen: (1) the “updated” date in the event meta display and (2) the actual post content.

ParticipantWorked like a charm, Barry. Thanks. Can you provide something similar for the single-event-php file? They need adjustments as well.

ParticipantThanks for the quick reply, Barry. I just sent the zip file off to you.

ParticipantNo, I’m interested in making it an excerpt of the post rather than having it be a complete repeat of the full post. I’ve seen many other sites using ECP that have shorter Event List listings but I wonder if that’s because the event description is short. If that’s the case, I guess the read more tag is the best/only option?
Tony
ParticipantThanks Jonah. I’ve got it figured out…I’m using fontific and simply selected the color to be used. Fixed it like a charm.
One last question, however. Is there a way to automatically abbreviate the Events List (http://www.advancingcompassion.org/events/) *without* using the “more” tag?
Tony
ParticipantThanks Jonah,
That CSS actually decreased the size of the default iframe. Any other suggestions?
Many thanks -
