So, having a ticket end on March 22 at 12:00 a.m. means it will end at Midnight on the 22 (technically when it becomes March 23) is that right?
Thanks,
StuartStuartParticipantHi Cliff,
I’m looking for the WooCommerce price paid. I want a way to give the role
of “registrar” a list of attendees and what they paid. My events have
discounts and some use coupon codes to get additional discounts. So,
knowing the ticket name isn’t enough because it doesn’t indicate whether a
coupon was used or not during checkout.Yes, y’alls report of the attendees DOES show the order number, but it’s
not a link. How would a “registrar” actually see the amount paid?Seems like there should be a way to pull this info from the database into
the report, but I’m not a developer and have no idea what would be involved. On the WooCommerce side of the equation, If I give the role of “registrar”
permission to view WooCommerce reports it also doesn’t provide them with
enough info. If I allow them to manage WooCommerce, then they have way too
many permissions. It’s seems it’s all or nothing. πThanks for all your help!
May 23, 2017 at 9:25 am in reply to: Single Event side bar is missing after Avada 5.1.6 update #1287728StuartParticipantHi Jennifer,
Thanks for your help.
You know, I kept getting the notice to update my ECP but in my Plugin Page in WP, it didn’t say there was a new version. I can’t remember now how, but I was able to do the update. I guess I can’t always count on the WP plugin page to tell when there’s a newer version.
I went to the Avada settings as you suggested. Events > Settings > Display > Basic Template Settings and changed it from “Default Events Template” to “Default Page Template” and that brought the sidebar back. π I don’t know why that setting changed or if the settings in the Avada 5.1.6 are different than 4.0.3.
I just wanted to document this in case anyone else runs into this trouble.
Thanks for your quick response.
Cheers,
StuartStuartParticipantHi Courtney,
After opening the ticket, I was able to figure out how to move the keys
around so they’re now working. However, something interesting happened before I could figure this out.
Someone registered for an event. I rec’d their payment through Woocommerce
but the transaction never showed up as an event registration. They are not
listed as an attendee. Is this because the key was temporarily broken? Thanks for your help!
StuartParticipantDear AndrΓ‘s,
Thanks for bringing this to your team and for looking into this.
I hope you have a great day!
Stuart
StuartParticipantThanks AndrΓ‘s,
I went ahead and upgraded my license to a business as I wanted my staging site to be on a server (as opposed to my laptop). I need to easily collaborate with my team in various parts of the world before deploying site configurations.
I thought moving the one key back forth, while doable, would get tedious.
I do wish the personal license allowed for at least a second testing site that was a subdomain of the live site (which is how I configured mine). If there is a way to do that without buying the business license, please let me know.
Many thanks and cheers!
StuartStuartParticipantThanks soooo much! I knew there was a way to do this, but couldn’t find it. You saved me a LOT of time! π
Cheers!
StuartParticipantHi Nico,
I think I’ve got this looking pretty much the way I want.
I added the following CSS:
div[id^="tribe-events-gmap-"] { height: 150px !important; } .fusion-tribe-events-venue-details-map { padding: 0 !important } .tribe-events-list .tribe-events-venue-details { font-style: italic; font-weight: 600; } .tribe-events-event-meta, body { font-size: 18px; }
Now, I’d like to know what’s controlling the fields for the date? I’d like to change that to a different format. Something like:
October 21
9:30 a.m.β1:00 p.m.So, that’s removing the “@” and putting the time on the second line.
Also, with the Location. I bumped up the size of the font mainly so the country would be on its own line. Is there another way to accomplish that?
Thanks for all your help!
StuartStuartParticipantHi Nico,
Well, I think we’ve made some progress. π The large Map is no gone. Yay!
Now, the small map seems to have wreaked havoc with the layout. π
I think the size of the map is disrupting the layout. The map should have a horizontal orientation, but has a vertical orientation.
I’mm attaching a screen shot of the Avada Event List demo page. The map should fit inside the box that has the link to the Google Map. Otherwise it throws off the layout.
Do you know of a way to fix that?
Thanks,
StuartStuartParticipantHi Nico,
Just checking in again to see if you have any further thoughts on this.
Thanks for all your help,

StuartParticipantHi Nico,
The CSS override worked great for the Upcoming Events. Thanks!
But, I still can’t get the map to appear in the box on the event list page. Nor can I get the map to be a link on the event page. π
Not sure what I’m doing wrong.
Do you want to login to my site and have a look around? If so, I can send you the credentials in a private message.
Many thanks,
StuartStuartParticipantHi Nico,
I have another question that might be easier.
How can I lessen the padding above and below the title “Upcoming Events” on the events page? It takes up more space than I would like for it to.
Thanks for your help!
