Hi Cliff, What can I do differently in the future to get to this point faster? Thanks! Rodrigo

FYI there’s no ORGANIZER in the file only LOCATION, so I’m not sure how you got the organizer to import at all.

This is what their tech said:
“Because all other plugins are deactivated and a default theme is activated unfortunately this is something the plugin developer would need to resolve. I’ve tried resetting file permissions again on our end, but it seems that the plugin is simply trying to do something that we cannot allow on our platform. They would need to re-write the code for this functionality.”“Our global permissions are set to 775 for directories and 664 files.”

Yes, not only did I “Hide & Ignore” I also went to that section and deleted permanently.
I don’t understand why Venue and Organizer were not created. Is this a bug?
Thanks!

December 15, 2016 at 9:27 pm in reply to: Preview gives "Your preview doesn't have any records to import." (ICS & Google) #1206917Rodrigo TorresParticipantThat’s a refine field, if I leave that empty why won’t it just find any events in the file?
Rodrigo TorresParticipantYes, that’s what I did with the events in my other forum post

December 14, 2016 at 5:08 pm in reply to: Preview gives "Your preview doesn't have any records to import." (ICS & Google) #1206222Rodrigo TorresParticipantTo clarify, the .ics files I was trying to import with Import Origin “ICS File” and the Google Calendar with Import Origin of “Google Calendar”

December 14, 2016 at 2:16 pm in reply to: Still need help customizing Aggregator to schedule a CSV Import #1206160Rodrigo TorresParticipantThank you for clarifying George!
FYI, I thought that “customize” meant code I would need to write outside of TEC.
Also, I have been working with one of the developers listed at http://m.tri.be/18k1 so I know I’m not alone in my confusion.
Also, you might want to update your marketing materials to specify that CSV cannot be scheduled, since as you can see from this screenshot, it’s easy to think that it is, and to prevent others from going down this road.December 13, 2016 at 11:19 am in reply to: Still need help customizing Aggregator to schedule a CSV Import #1205453Rodrigo TorresParticipantOk, gotcha.
One last thing:
I thought the Aggregator chron job tribe_aggregator_cron which I can see is firing every 15 minutes would be triggering the imports I’ve set up (that show in the history tab with a clock next to them). I’m thinking that aggregator chron is ignoring them because they are type csv. If that’s the case then there’s no way to customize without getting into the guts of your code, which I am trying to avoid so that I don’t have problems with upgrades.Rodrigo TorresParticipantHi Cliff. Thanks for your response.
No, when I import via CSV, I get lat and long even when that’s not in the data. I think it’s gotten from the Google API because I have my key in there.
No, I haven’t seen that notice.
