Hi, If I’m importing data using something like WPAllImport, is there a way to tell the Events Calendar to update Lat & Longitude after the run?
    Thanks!

Hi Rodrigo. Thanks for your question.

Whether you import via our free CSV Importer or any other method, you’d need to manually get the Venues’ geolocation information. (or integrate something yourself via custom coding)

I believe if you have any Venues without location data, you’ll see a notice in wp-admin to get it. Have you seen that notice before?

Hi Cliff. Thanks for your response.

No, when I import via CSV, I get lat and long even when that’s not in the data. I think it’s gotten from the Google API because I have my key in there.

No, I haven’t seen that notice.

Rodrigo, I verified that when you import a CSV file to import Venues, the geolocation lookup should happen. If you’re using our CSV Import functionality, your Venue addresses should already have lat/long data and therefore you wouldn’t see the notice like “some Venues are missing geolocation data, click here to obtain it.”

Does this clear things up at all? Did you try this and experience something different (like Venues not getting lat/long assigned)? If so, please provide me a copy of what you’re importing as Venues via our CSV Import functionality.

    Thanks.
