Ah awesome that’s problem one solved!
We put the html into the custom fields section of the events for the paypal buttons

It is not exactly clear in the documentation:
Most of the functionality is provided NOT by events-calendar-pro but by the-events-calendar, so most of the layout files are in THAT directory.
Disregard what is written in ‘The Themers Guide’ on here with regards to the /pro/ directory in your theme. My /tribe-events looks like this and works properly:└── tribe-events

The default is set to ‘published’ so I know thats ok. It’s strange because when I’m logged in as admin I can see the community event in the dashboard. It’s only when I look for the community event in the Event List created by a contributor then I can’t see it.
S2Member could very well be the problem… Especially if no one else has encountered this problem themselves! The problem I have is that I’m not authorised to turn off the plug-ins especially as there’s so much traffic going through the site.
Okay well if this is not a common ‘bug’ or an obvious mistake I’ve made then I’ll have to ask the S2member forum. Thank you Nico. (However please do reply if there is anything I can do without turning off plug-ins!)
Thank you for your help

I’d forgotten I’d created a custom template for that page that changes the event cost for logged in users. Obviously something about the way I had done it was upsetting it.
raindanceParticipantWorks like a charm!
Much appreciated.raindanceParticipantI remember event espresso had something similar.
I think it was just a field you could fill out on the event page and a tick box to tell it to use the custom email rather than the default.I’ve looked into this a little further and I think I can pull it off by creating a custom field and modifying the woocommerce email template.
Also thought of another feature I’d like – Membership integration. So that members would have access to different prices and tickets.
raindanceParticipantBeing able to set a custom confirmation email for individual tickets would be a very useful feature for me.
raindanceParticipantFinally figured it out. Think I was overthinking it. Many thanks!
raindanceParticipantI reuploaded the plugins and everything is working as it should now.
Many thanks!raindanceParticipantCan’t paste code apparently… This is what I tried to paste: tribe_get_start_date( null, false, ‘Y-m-d-h:i:s’
raindanceParticipantMany thanks. I’ve already made several changes to the single.php file. What do I need to put to format the time differently?
Something to do with this?
I think it would definitely be worth adding to future releases. Just looks a bit nicer in my opinion. -
