Thanks for being so helpful!
I went back and tried again. Regarding the white screen, that I don’t get anymore but. I guessed you fixed it with the last update, but the problem of no importing events is still there. I’m doing “Scheduled Imports” since the feed are updating continuously. I tried to import now with “Scheduled Import”, and it imported 10 events, while there is 555 events in the feed.

Thanks for being patient 🙂May 18, 2017 at 9:30 am in reply to: iCal import seems to last for ever, but really never imports events. #1285595SteffenParticipantI updated TEC to 4.5.2. Now, when I “Run Import”, the browser shows me a blank page with this as the URL (wp-admin/edit.php?page=aggregator&post_type=tribe_events&tab=scheduled&action=run-import&ids=6302&nonce=096ba6ea09). Went back to the events, but none are imported.

I tried to solve it further after I posted issue. Changed the Origin of the import to Google Calendar (cause that was the correct source), but didn’t make any difference. The import process stoped after a good time, but didn’t import any event. I also made some attempts to preview the feed and the events showed up perfectly right away, but didn’t import any events after pressing Run Import.
Here is the url I’m importing from: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/ppsui1168ju95v13nb3300vbvo%40group.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics
SteffenParticipantBy the way, I’m having a suggestion when it comes to recurring features.
Would been awesome if there was a fuction which made it possible to have events recurr like every second / third or custom week. This would make the event calendar even more powerful!

SteffenParticipantHi Brian.
Sry for being late. After chaning the date format as you suggested it did work right away. Fantastic! Sure, it’s not optimal, but it’s better to have the events recurr 🙂 Thanks!SteffenParticipantSteffenParticipantI you go to http://ptb.no/beta/hendelser/2015-08/ you will get events named “Gudstjeneste” and “Fredagskirke”. Those are both recurring every week. I havn’t edited “Fredagskirke” since that update, and that’s why it still works. I tried just now to delete that previous “Gudstjeneste”-event and made a new one, but as you see it won’t recurr.
Thanks for being patient! 🙂- This reply was modified 8 years, 9 months ago by Steffen.
SteffenParticipantIn the wp-config.php the
define(‘DISABLE_WP_CRON’, false);
is not defined at all. In other words it does not exist in that document at all.SteffenParticipantHi Brian!
Sry for late respons. I’m not familiar with WP Cron. The pattern was supposed to be weekly.// Steffen

SteffenParticipantResolved it!
The theme (Adore Church Theme) had an built in event calendar, which also was set to yourdomain.com/event and therefore made complications. Edited the URL for (your) the event calendar, and case is finally resolved!
Anyway, thank you so much for been kind though!
SteffenParticipantHi Nico!
Thank you for your patience!
Not sure about that difference about if it points and redirects. I activaded the Twenty Thirteen and deactivated all plugins except the event calendar (a facebook plugin shows on the front page thoug), so that you can see how it behaves.
The calendar is found here. All events are recurring every week, except those you see do not (look in aug/sept/oct).Had an earlier version of the free event calendar, but updated it while I installed the Pro version. Did that answer to your question?

SteffenParticipantThanks for your quick respons Nico!
Yes, I’ve tried with default theme (both Twenty Fourteen and Twenty Thirteen). What happens then is that it points to the home page, rather than the event. But on the recurring event it points to the event.
Tried this both with and without all plugins activated.
Here’s the calendar.
Non Recurring event/single event here.
Recurring event here. -
