It’s getting uploaded multiple times. An example is Putnam CT has regular events that are branded to a very nice logo and the logo is submitted with the individual events resulting in unique copy of the logo in the media library for each submission.

We’re getting closer. This is the message that appears below each license number “Sorry, key validation server is not available.”, but the license number is correct. I logged in and copied and pasted the number license code in.

No to both. Updates don’t show up in either section of the database. I’ve been getting updates on other plugins.

So there are two plugin dealing with members. “Business Directory plugin” is being used for member listings and “private content” is being used to give members access to private pages. My thinking was Private pages was the culprit. I deactivated both plugins and the problem still persists. It’s odd that the restricted content is coming up at all. Private content is set up to direct visitors to a separate login page.

This is the message that appears on the visitors event view page.
“This content is restricted to site members. If you are an existing user, please log in. New users may register below.”

    Thanks Jeff,
Do I need to delete the existing records before importing the calendar?
What happens to categories? I’ve downloaded the individual xml files for organizers, venues, and events. Should I import them in that order?
    Thanks for your help.

Thanks for getting back to me Geoff. It turns out the my client forgot to give the person who was updating the calendar the new ip address and she was entering the info into the early development server. Ugh. My reading on the subject suggests that there isn’t any way I can export this data and update the live site? Is that correct?

A big concern is the close to 200 events that have been manually added by the client. I don’t see anyway to export the events from her side and I’ afraid that if I do anything I’ll loose all of these entries.
