ParticipantHi Julie, Windows Vista Home Premium, I use Google. Microoft Security Essentials, Malwarebytes. It is odd – I was able to download the previus version of Events Calendar and I have done the same with other plugins but just not Pro.

ParticipantNo error message – just Open or save 3.4 zip regardless of what I selected.
How do you post a screenshot to this blog? I have often thought that would be really useful.February 21, 2014 at 6:51 pm in reply to: Mini Calendar widget links to next month do not work. #108174perthmorrismen

ParticipantHi Julie, I hit a stumbling block. I went to account central and selected Events Pro version 3.3 and clicked on Download. The message at the bottom of the screen said did I want to open or save Version 3.4. It didn’t matter which version I selected – it still wanted to download version 3.4. Any thoughts? Thanks

ParticipantHi Rob. Thanks. Well it is not really resolved but I may stick with the existing theme that doesn’t have that column width problem. See https://tri.be/support/forums/topic/mini-calendar-widget-links-to-next-month-do-not-work/#post-107281 to see the direction that I am going. Cheers

ParticipantSimilar problem. Cannot change month. I used to be able to do it with the current theme in an older version of Event Calendar Pro. Also if I change the Thene to TwentyTen or later it will work okay. So it would appear to be a theme conflict with the latest version of Event Calendar Pro. So unless you can think of something my solutions would be either to roll back to a previous version or change my theme. Any comments? WP 3.8.1 EC 3.4.1 and Pr version 3.4 Thanks. PS With the two plug ins (Events Calendar and Events Caledat Pro) what is the easiest way of rolling back?

ParticipantWell it didn’t fix it. However the reason I am considering changing the theme is because I have found some theme conflicts with Events Pro. By the way the width is okay in TwentyTwelve. However my existing Theme (designed by someone else) is more coulourful than, say 2010 or 2012. However at the moment if I try to change month with the event calendar widget – it doesn’t. If I change to 2010 or 2012 – it does! So do I want something that is colourful or do I want something that works properly?

ParticipantHi Barry, thanks for all the help. I am not sure about that maintenance plug in. However issue is now resolvd. I saved the licence key and went to the Dashboard and checked for updates. Events Pro update appeared and updated successfully. I don’t know what I deleted since all my data still appears to be there and it is working alright. Thanks once again. I still have a theme conflict that I have had for a while that mucks up some features but that is another story. Cheers for now.

ParticipantI couldn’t find the file and I couldn’t delete the plug in since it gave me the same fatal error, I have renamed a folder and installed an older version of Pro – hoping it will prompt me to upgrade overnight. The older version of course doesn’t line up with the basic events calendar. I deleted some data in an attempt to fool it into letting me reinstall so I suspect I may have lost stuff – never mind – there wasn’t a lot for this year yet.

ParticipantHi Barry, Thanks – it is all okay now. When I got back into it last night I could update the PRO so that fixed the problem. I meant to give you an update re its resolution but the evening got away from me last night. Cheers

ParticipantHi Barry, It is a customised theme Morris drop down Version 1.0 . It says it is an Artisteer generated theme. If it is any help I have probably had that theme since August 2009.

ParticipantThanks Barry, you are onto something there. I reverted to Twenty Twelve and deactivated plug ins and it worked. I turned my normal theme back on and it didn’t work so there must be some sort of theme conflict. How do we get around that?
perthmorrismen
ParticipantThanks. No I haven’t fixed it. I went back into it – September worked – clicked to go to October – blank. Back to September – again blank. Also the toggle switch for month or list isn’t displaying properly for me. I might revisit some of my settings.
