Calendar Events not showing in Month view

Hi, List view is working perfectly but when the month view is selected it appears blank. Any thoughts? Using the widget – the month that appears there has days when events are on highlighted (in bold) I don’t know whether that helps.

Hi!

If I visit (your-domain)/events/ I can see the month view grid and it seems to be populated with events that correspond to what I see in the mini calendar widget.

Can you confirm if you have already resolved this or else provide a few more specifics about the problem?

Thanks. No I haven’t fixed it. I went back into it – September worked – clicked to go to October – blank. Back to September – again blank. Also the toggle switch for month or list isn’t displaying properly for me. I might revisit some of my settings.

Interesting … when you say blank do you quite literally mean there is nothing there?

What I see if I go straight to /events/ is a populated month view. If I move to October (via ajax – ie, using the link just above the calendar) again I see what appears to be a fully populated month view.

I do notice however that if I go straight to October using the URL /events/2013-10/ some of those events are missing, however. So something is up but I’m not sure if this is quite the same as what you yourself are experiencing.

What if you deactivate all other plugins except for those by Modern Tribe and revert to a default, unmodified theme such as Twenty Twelve? Do you experience the same issue?

Thanks Barry, you are onto something there. I reverted to Twenty Twelve and deactivated plug ins and it worked. I turned my normal theme back on and it didn’t work so there must be some sort of theme conflict. How do we get around that?

Can you tell me what theme you are using?

Hi Barry, It is a customised theme Morris drop down Version 1.0 . It says it is an Artisteer generated theme. If it is any help I have probably had that theme since August 2009.

Hi perthmorrismen, I’m not massively familiar with the Artisteer application and you will have a better idea than I as to how valid an idea this may be, but… if you have had the theme since August 2009 perhaps some of the generated code consists either of deprecated functions (there have been many changes in WordPress since then) or otherwise contains coding patterns that at this stage might actually fall foul of today’s best practices.

Can you regenerate your theme using the latest incarnation of Artisteer, if they still have one that is visually very close to your 2009 one?
