@Joe – we have already had our developers build this – see http://mccyclery.com.au/event/mcbff-ride/2011-11-29 (the calendar widget on the RHS has small AJAX arrows ready to go). Happy to share the code if it helps.

Also – re: more advanced recurring events (ie. first Tuesday of the month), 100% agree – and need it quickly!

Lastly – @Rob, any news on my little suggestion re: hiding events from the calendar view as well as the list view? You were going to check how far down the list it was.

    Hi guys,

I run a few private events – that are distributed by URL only. The ‘hide from list’ feature is great – but I need a ‘hide from calendar’ option also – so the events are invisible to the causal browser – but visible to those I send the URL to.

    Hope it makes the list!

Hey Rob – thanks for the feedback! We specifically need the above – and have our developers sorting out now. Appreciate the fantastic service – great work.

    Hi guys,

Just found this also – when is 2.0.2 likely to surface (looks a bit embarrassing on our site in the meantime!)??

    Thanks.

Hi Rob. Weird. It’s now displaying on the published site (which I guess is all that matters) – however it is still showing ‘Easy’ as the selected custom setting on the edit screen (it’s my only custom setting). Therefore, if I make a change – and forget to change it manually to, say, ‘Intermediate’ – it will save as Easy again (and publish it as such).

    Hi guys,

I am having the same issue – however with text values. I have created a drop-down called ‘difficulty’ with 3x possible values – easy medium and hard. No matter what I select from an event post – it always saves back as ‘Easy’ and displays ‘Easy’ on the published page. Really need this working properly asap.

    Thank you.
