fixed – thank you!
mshaneParticipant.select2-container .select2-choice > .select2-chosen {
line-height: 55px;
}This was the code pushing the selected text down. Looks like it came from the community styles. I copied to child theme and changed line height to 25px and it corrected the problem. Thanks!

I don’t follow. What do you mean supported in this way? It is in your documentation as a working feature in the Calendar plugin. So are you saying it doesn’t work.
I don’t care how I get the desired display – whether its through an Avada element or a shortcode. But the only way I have found to get the desired presentation from your documentation is by inserting the URL directly into a text block. I can’t get the same display from the Avada Fusion builder element OR a shortcode.
Please advise.
Thanks!

Thanks!

I simply have the visual editor in WP open and in the editor I copy the event URL and the plugin saves the URL and displays it on the front end as shown. Its in your documentation.

So it looks like what happens is that when the link to the event is placed inside a text block it creates an iframe with the embedded content. Seems like the width of the iframe element is fixed at 600px and when this size is reduced then it eliminates the elements bleeding over. Its not a style that exists in the child theme css file. Its an inline element style which seems to be created by the plugin when you insert the link into a text block.
Let me know if I am on the right track or that makes sense.
Thanks!

mshaneParticipantHey Jamie –
Thanks so much. Question on second issue. So I understand completely about asking for customization help and I am curious because the CSS style you are targeting seems to be a sitewide style as #main. However, the problem as I said before is ONLY on site pages related specifically to the Events Calendar which is why I brought it up wondering if the calendar was causing the issue as it seems that is the only difference between “working” site footer and “non working site footers” is your plugin.
So – I am a bit hesitant to implement a sitewide change when the issue is isolated to a small portion of the site.
Does that make sense? Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks so much for you advice and direction. I appreciate it.

mshaneParticipantThanks Courtney. It seems to work in WordPress content editor. I am trying to add it to a layer using the Layer Slider application. And the layer slider textual area is capable of handling shortcodes. But it doesn’t output the event from the link.
Thanks!

mshaneParticipantHi Barry –
Thanks so much for the detailed response. Ok I will look at the Themers Guide. One thought I had was to disable the List view and make the Month view on the archive page the default. Is this possible to do – DIsable the List view? I think that would make it more clear for the visitor to see it in a calendar view then. What do you think?Thanks so much
mshaneParticipantHey Brian – a little more info. So the output on the page the term Class adds an extra S like I said about but in the Dashboard when adding a new event the post shows the term correctly Clas. So on the backend it shows the correct term in the functions file but on the display output there is an additional S added to the end of the term. Thanks again!
