George,
it worked perfectly! thanks so much!
May 24, 2015 at 10:48 am in reply to: Adding a custom button next to google calendar and ical export buttons #964741Neil HeirdParticipantOK – I have tried without success to locate exactly where to place this code on the single events page
<a class="btn" href="#">Return to Schedule</a>
can you point me to the correct file location? I assume it goes in The Events Calendar plugin folder under Views > Single-Event.php…. correct?
So far, the only way I have been able to add the button is via the before and after HTML boxes on the site, but CSS doesn’t allow me to position the button within the Events Info module that way.
Any suggestions you have are appreciated.
Neil HeirdParticipantthanks
Neil HeirdParticipantHi again… any update to my last question?
April 15, 2015 at 6:28 pm in reply to: follow up: arranging form fields in community events form #955932Neil HeirdParticipantthat did it!
thanks again for your help.
Neil HeirdParticipantactually, that’s perfect! just tweaked it a bit with some margin. i assume i can do the same for all other sections…
thanks again!
Neil HeirdParticipantBarry,
I just removed the login… sorry about that 🙂
Neil HeirdParticipantthanks! worked perfectly. one quick follow up…
i see that in the list view of upcoming events, certain meta is displayed. how difficult would it be to have the event category name displayed there as well? so perhaps in a third line on its own, below the address?
Neil HeirdParticipantHow would I achieve the iframe you last suggested?
Neil HeirdParticipantWhat I really need help with is how would I display only the form in a popup
instead of the entire page?Neil HeirdParticipantHi Barry. I have tried network wide activation vs one of the sites without any luck. As for updates, I didn’t update anything. I just purchased / updated licenses on a few of your products and just downloaded the latest version of everything. How can I determine which version of what will work correctly with WP 3.8.1? I am using the same theme (ENFOLD by Kriesi) as I have on a few other sites that also use your plugins, so I’m pretty confident there’s no issue there.
I am using a few other plugins, but none should be interfering (I can send you a list if needed), and I do plan to use ECP, FB Events, and the Community Calendar – so kind of big deal on this project.
Thanks for the quick reply and I’ll look for your suggestion on how to get the plugin versions right for this project.
thanks,
Neil
October 28, 2013 at 9:00 am in reply to: Community Events – Add Instructions for Event Categories Box #73212Neil HeirdParticipantthanksJulie!
Neil HeirdParticipantworked perfectly. thanks!
Neil HeirdParticipantGreat mews Casey. thanks for the update. Hopefully the update will be available soon!
Neil HeirdParticipantThanks Casey. I appreciate your efforts. Depending on how long this solutions takes, you may want to consider some type of time-based pro-rated subscription benefit since the ability to submit events from the site’s front end is the primary function of this plugin, and with it not working as intended, some might be concerned about the “ticking clock” against the one year subscription… just a thought.
I look forward to your reply / solution. thanks.
