ParticipantI just added and gave some background as to why I would need this. Basically it makes it easier to pass along info to an organizer for checkin vs printing a new list at the last minute.

ParticipantThanks and FWIW I updated my plugins this week to the latest version and that did not fix the issue. Thanks for your help.

ParticipantIt clearly looks at the day but it’s not respecting the day cut off. Here’s a screen shot from today October 3 at 4:04pm EST. Notice calendar is set for Oct 3 but the first event ended Oct 3 at 1am. I have my day cutoff as 2:30am to be on the safe side.
September 30, 2013 at 3:39 pm in reply to: Pagination Issues on Backend After Filtering and Category Filters Issue #68444mattsokoloff
ParticipantOK Two issues…one may be related to Filter Bar the other is not. Both of these are about filter events in the wordpress admin backend (/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=tribe_events).
1) Not related to Filter bar because I deactivated the plugin and it still happens — When you are in the WordPress Admin and you are looking at events you can add filters. When you manually paginate after filtering the filter is lost.
https://www.evernote.com/shard/s2/sh/8f4e2524-73c4-4efc-933c-680023be6dce/2038002f7604f197fe2bc56c1e4e122e2) May be caused by the filter bar plugin because it only happens when the plugin is active — When you are in the WordPress Admin and you are looking at events you can add filters. Most of the filters don’t actually filter. Specifically having issues with Cats, Start Date, Cost. https://www.evernote.com/shard/s2/sh/eed07899-989b-4261-b4d9-0df49b403be0/2adfeb7321cf867890de90b2bcdb6682

ParticipantI don’t have a place to do that (have third party hosting where I cant add another installation) but if you do I’m happy to replicate there or provide you a login to our staging environment.
A couple of quick points:
– You started with importing events from facebook with the free version of events cal then upgraded to events cal pro
– You tested with importing new events from new organizers from Facebook to “pending” status and then published the event and it works?
– Filters Bar beta and Community events are both activated
Also here are my Events Cal Facebook Import Settings: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s2/sh/cd0b3d50-cf56-4aba-aff5-0cc7f1d29e61/38670ee4e0decd1c6a7ce5ac9ff98995September 30, 2013 at 6:53 am in reply to: Venue URL slugs missing when upgrading from Community to PRO #68304mattsokoloff
ParticipantYou can look at any of the events that came in with that facebook page. For example:
http://bungalower.staging.wpengine.com/event/seasons-52-park-ave-5-2k-presented-by-florida-hospital/
The organizer AND venue urls do not work.
If I go in and open the venue (or organizer) on the backend I can see that the url is just: http://bungalower.staging.wpengine.com/venue/ (or /organizer/)
If I click “Update” it will update with a URL. The venue and organizer are already published….just with no URL slug.Hope that helps you replicate.

ParticipantSo I upgraded and fixed all of the existing venues but now new venues and organizers that come from the FB Plugin also don’t have URLs. On my staging site I removed all plugins exept event cal, events cal pro. events cal FB and Events cal filters bar.
When importing new events from facebook the venues and orgainzers don’t have URLs unless I open each one and publish.
To recreate:
– Add a facebook page into the settings area for import
– My settings are to import to pending
– Go to events –> Facebook and select the events to import
– Open each event and click publishHere is one of the pages that had the issue for me although it appears to be ANY new venue or organizer:

ParticipantHey Rob. No worries. I ended up just opening each venue and organizer and saving…wasn’t too bad. 🙂
If you want to recreate because I do think there is a bug…I realized that it’s most likely caused by the Facebook Events plugin. All of those events, venues and organizers were created with the FB Events Plugin on the community version and then I added the PRO version.
Thanks.

ParticipantHi…I’m looking to make the upgrade soon and it would be great to know if there is a better way to update the slugs than to open and save each venue. Here’s where you can see all of the incorrect venue URLs http://bungalower.staging.wpengine.com/events/

ParticipantAside from the minor issues I’ve come across it’s great and a much needed feature for most event sites. I do have one minor concern and that is that it’s not clear to the user what the difference between the standard search bar vs the advanced. When both are collapsed it is a little redundant to have two ways to drill down into events. For example “Date” is technically a filter but is under Find Events yet category is under “Advanced. Screenshot: https://www.evernote.com/shard/s2/sh/34d95ca0-33ee-4523-abd9-ade1626eb4d6/48d6499311e93268244b3b14583b733e
I also think it would be great if the title would rewrite based on the filters selected so it would say “Upcoming Events [Category] Events that cost [cost] happening in the Morning”
I know this is not easy logic due to the variety of filters but maybe even starting with a couple? It’s useful for when you link someone to a hardcoded url search for them to know what they are looking at. This already happens when searching by Date. Thanks for yet another great plugin!

ParticipantHmm..To be clear the only filter that was causing issues for me was the “Day” filter. That works for you on Community Events. I don’t have another WordPress instance running but in theory to reproduce:
– Instals Community Events
– Create an event for a Monday
– Install Filters Plugin
– Add “Day” filter
– Go to /events and filter by day for Mondaymattsokoloff
ParticipantResolved this issue by adding custom CSS to overide Tribe’s CSS
.tribe-events-filter-view #tribe_events_filters_wrapper {
display: block;
}It is set to display:none in the Tribe css

ParticipantCorrect.
Community Events – Day Filter does not
Pro – Day Filter worksmattsokoloff
ParticipantDid you try it without PRO installed? I activated PRO (had the plugin from another site) and the day filtering worked properly. Deactivated and it’s back to not working. It’s clearly an issue with the community plugin.
