A couple of things
1) Thanks for the compliment but that is prob the theme.
2) The list functionality I was speaking of was the event list widget thing that you place in other parts of the site (sorry for not being more specific.
3) The helper before you suggested that I downgrade so what you are seeing is 3.93 in action because 3.10 was not working.
4) Another user chimed in and said they had the same prob because the shortcode widget maker that they were using and it seems that I am using that same widget maker.
So I will try disabling the widget maker plugin and then upgrading and see if that works.
But another issue that I was having was that when I was trying to deactivate all the plugin and trouble shoot 3.10 would not deactivate and I had to rename through FTP just to get it to deactivate.

I do not NEED a captcha or manual admin. They are security settings that are part of a plugin. (All in One Security) Both of these options where on while the default “anyone can register” option was off. As this will be a community site and we are still in heavy development they will be used at a later time.
More importantly – why they are there is really immaterial to the problem at hand. Which is in-spite of the security options turned on and the register option turned off – The CE addon created the “anonymous” designation and then preceded to systematically add “anonymous” users every few minutes even AFTER being deactivated.
Which to me says two things. While the security features seem to work in normal sign up situations the CE addon seems to bypass those features in some way ( which not necessarily your problem) the other is that it SEEMS to be a serious bug in the add on – which is a MT problem that I am trying to address.

Well open registration was turned off in the WordPress options
And a separate security plugin called for both captcha and manual admin approval of all new registrations.
Also “anonymous” user designation was only a setting in the Community Events plugin as WP only has Subscriber Contributor Author Editor and AdminI have not been unprofessional – I have been quite detailed in my responses and doing alot to solve this problem on my own because as I already mentioned you a bit slow to respond – If stating that I am not happy with your response time is unprofessional to you then there is nothing I can do for that.
What is even more frustrating is how you are obviously not reading my responses.
I have already done all that and told you exactly which plug is conflicting
If you cannot read and comprehend my responses then rather than offer idle threats about whether I can continue to use this product how about get some with a little more customer service orientation.
Because you are not very helpful at allIf you READ my original post – the PROBLEM is and always has been that all my previous events entered show that they are ended no matter how far in the future they are.
The title is Upgrading because that is when I noticed that the problem occurred.

Yesterday stated that I have tried several code snippets that I found on my own by going back an forth through this forum because you guys seem to be a bit slow on the response side.
LET ME STATE IT AGAIN.
THAT CODE SNIPPET DOES NOT WORK.
I am not bringing up different issues I am trying to locate the problem and find a solution (not just a work around)
3.2 as stated by yourself in other threads as few bugs related to this issue and the code HAS NOT worked for several people with a similar issue relating to this plug in combined with sliders. HINT HINT.
HOW right I am about that observation is really of no concern when it comes to trouble shooting the problem stated in my original post and thus far you have not been very helpful in solving this issue.P.S. several people with similar issues with their slider has pointed out that that code snippet does NOT solve the problem

I have spent the last couple days combing your threads and it seems that more than a few people are having issues with 3.2 and sliders that call tags or custom posts for the slider.
I COULD be wrong but I think that it is loosely related to something pointed out in another thread by Barry ———

taxonomy query relating to post tags (of course, we should not generally do this if the query is not related to our own plugin). So if, behind the scenes, the feature of MapPress you are using is indeed centered on their own custom post type and it in turn leverages post tags this is very likely to be the problem and we’ll certainly address it as quickly as we can.”
The particular problem I am having is all my events are showing ENDED no matter how far they are in the future.
The LOOK fine but if it is an event scheduled for Jan/1/2015
There is a blue field at the top of the event that says – “This event has passed.”

The slider I am using is not even showing the posts from your calendar but yet there seems to be an issue with all the events showing pass.
I really hope I don’t have to wait another 3 days for a response on this.
It is REALLY hard to sell the idea of an event based website when all the events no matter when they are added show “EVENT HAS PASSED”Not to mention the MULTIPLE posts from people with these similar problems that are saying that the snippet you guys keep pushing as a solution IS NOT WORKING.
Hijacking? – Really?
I have spent the last several days combing your forums for a solution to an issue with your plugin. If I notice someone with a similar problem and inquire about the similarity how is that hijacking. If anything I am helping you to find a solution to what seems to be a pervasive problem with 3.2 and sliders when it comes to tags and customs posts. I have inserted a couple of versions of that snippet to no avail and continue to search your forums for a solution. The problem described here seemed related
I have also seen another post relating to “we do modify queries where they relate to custom post types” (don’t remember the link) related to 3.2Would this be related to all of my future events showing up as past events when I activate The Infinite Slider by Mandloy.
It pulls its slides from posts but it seems to conflict with ECP because of the problem mention above.
Please Advise
