Wow…this is beyond unfortunate, as we are in the countdown for this event, and the details that were wiped out were extremely important…let’s add to my misery that this is a pro-bono client, and this issue has now engulfed the last 12 hours of my attention.
That said, we do have daily database backups, and a full site backup from pre-update. Am I to understand from your comments that rolling back the plugin won’t be the simplest fix? Has the information been wiped from the database as well?
Still doing a little fine tuning, but here’s one we just set up using Pro, Community Events, and some color coding to help find event types: http://greatmaineoutdoorweekend.org/
Rob/Henry-I am one of those looking for an integrated way to show events on a map. Your link/page shows that it can be done, but are you willing to share the “how”? Happy to move this over to a different thread if more appropriate.
Thanks guys!Hi Rob! I have been using Pro on this site (http://greatmaineoutdoorweekend.org) in conjunction with Simple Map. Would be a really cool “pro” feature to include a map overview functionality with Events Calendar. Currently, we’re just exporting venues every couple of days, manipulating the data as needed & importing it into Simple Map’s locations, so not that huge of a deal, but would be great if it just happened on its own.
