I take it back. This issue is not resolved. it is back to reading from PM to AM. I am not sure what is going on here but this was not happening before the upgrade. So how can it be a caching issue when it WAS working just fine. Seems to me that something changed in the last update that made this happen that was not happening before. If it is a conflict with a plugin, then, said plugin was previously not a problem, why should it be now?

this is a test site. You can do whatever you need to. Since in your last statement you did not want to change anything, I made you an editor. do you now need to be returned to admin status? Thanks.

I went to my testsite and disabled all but the events calendar and changed the theme and even logged out as I had read on the forum that someone experienced similar problems when logged in. Nothing changed the appearance. Thanks for your help.

HI Casey, No worries. you are probably looking at my live site which is waiting for us to figure this out. If you would like to look at the test site let me know. I need to put in an IP for you and update your username / password.
What I don’t get is: WIDGETS CALENDAR works, but tribe-events.css and loop-grid to change to abbreviations doesn’t seem to be taking. By all rights, it should work. I am sure it is something I did, some caching issue or who knows. I might just update the live site and see what happens.
Go with Grey for a while. 😉

Casey, I put the WHOLE new file tribe-events-full.css into the tribe-events folder and made changes to it. Nothing. Is this the one I am suppose to be using IF I am using full styles?
    2. Not sure where to put test text but I will try.

yes, Casey. I have deleted all the CSS in my theme page and put in a directory tribe-events/pro and tribe-events/month to test out the Abbreviations on the days of the week. To tribe-events I added the tribe-events-full.css with changes to the colors as I had in previous versions. To tribe-events/pro I added widget-calendar.css. To tribe-events/month I added loop-grid.php and made the changes to abbreviate the months. Or so I thought. The only one that works is the widget-calendar. What have I got wrong here? thanks for your help. I can let you into my test site if you wish.

After posting this I realized that you had probably changed a lot of CSS info and that I had copied the CSS to my theme folder. I will let you know if I still need assistance after comparing these files. Thanks

Hi Casey, I deactivated all the plugins and lo and behold, it works. The only one that I had not deactivated when I was troubleshooting, is the Restricted Site Access plugin that I use. It restricts access to logged in users and certain IP addresses.
Any clues as to why restricting access might cause a conflict?
