ParticipantJennifer,
Thank you, but wow, the functionality is pretty disappointing.
I’m refering to this: https://archfw.org/event/lafayette-place-tour/
and the fact that the textarea box strips out all HTML.
Is there any way for this to allow HTML? Or are we sunk?
Jon
ParticipantOK, but wait. We’d like to add some information to the ticket of one particular event, not to every single event we’d ever produce. How in the world do we do that?
IOW, is there a place for me to add text and/or HTML to a ticket for one particular event?
Jon
ParticipantGOOD GRIEF I found it.
This is a WooCommerce function. I found it here:
WooCommerce > Settings > Email > Tickets
WOW that was more difficult than I thought it should be!
Cheers,
JonJon
ParticipantI see that this might be helpful…
… but I am afraid I don’t know how.
I need to see why the *subject line* for the email is saying the ticket will be *mailed* rather than contained in the email. Please advise!
Jon
ParticipantPlease note that I do not see anything in these files that would cause this message to be in the Subject line:
wp-content/plugins/event-tickets/src/views/tickets/email.php
wp-content/avada/tribe-events/tickets/email.php (this file does not exist)
I read the following to try to chase down the email file:
Please help!

ParticipantHa! OK, I didn’t even realize that JetPack setting was on. Thanks for your assistance!
Jon
ParticipantYes, that is true. I guess the best option currently is to just create an event that spans the two days and then mention the times within the text of the event, as so:
http://fame.flywheelsites.com/event/fort-wayne-fame-festival/
Correct?
Jon
ParticipantGot it! All I did was add the following to my CSS:
.tribe-events-page-template div.fusion-page-title-bar { display: none; }Tah dah! Let me know, though, if this doesn’t make sense to you.
Jon
ParticipantHuh. Well, OK, I do not mind swapping that around, but yeah, this is how it works out-of-the-box in Avada.
I wonder: Do you know how I can hide the title that’s showing with “display:none” and replace it with some sort of standing head such as “Calendar”?

ParticipantOK!
Now it seems that everything is working correctly:
And I tested it on a different event, to make sure the sorting was working for a new event, also.
Man, I tell ya. Maybe the directions on your site just aren’t as clear as you guys think they are or something. I really appreciate all of the help through this, but it’d be great if directions for stuff like this went into the knowledgebase. Thanks!

ParticipantThis is quite frustrating.
I’ve visited this page: https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/higest-ticket-price-shown-in-event-page/
I have copy-pasted the code into the theme functions.php file.
I have copies the details.php file from
the-events-calendar\views\modules\meta\details.phpand placed it intheme\tribe-events\modules\meta\details.php.I replaced the php code as indicated.
Now, nothing has changed. I’ve moved the
details.phpfile up a level. I’ve copied over thelist\single-event.phpandday\single-event.phpfiles and I’m utterly clueless as to what need to be changed there.Despite everything, I’m still stuck with $20 at the top of these pages:
If only this had taken merely an hour.

ParticipantOK, I figured it out, but the price at the top of the page still reflects the wrong ticket:
That price at the top should say $12, not $20.

ParticipantAh, I’m being grouchy because this seems to be one of those things that you’d think would be core.
OK, I went through the steps and I see no change. How do I troubleshoot?

ParticipantAlso, to be clear, the tickets are shown in OPPOSITE order of when they are created. Change the publication date all you want, that sort is set.

ParticipantDid I see somewhere that the code could be hacked so that the sorting functionality resident in WooCommerce could do the sorting?
