ParticipantHi lloydsilver,
Our developers are looking into getting this fixed soon. We need to determine whether or not it’s a limitation with Eventbrite’s API or something that we can fix on our end. If it’s the latter we should be able to fix it much sooner. Stay tuned for another update.

ParticipantHi Rich,
I just wanted to update you on this. I did go through and make a pass on the tutorial and updated all the line numbers in the code snippets to work with 1.9.2. Can you please confirm whether or not this helped you so we can close out this thread and the ticket?
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Linda,
I’m not exactly sure what happened but your Events link is linking to a category page. It may be that you were using an older version of the plugin that used to use this old category page and updated recently? At any rate, you need to update that link so it links to http://www.globemiamitimes.com/events/ – I’m not sure how you have your menu setup but if you have Custom Menus in WordPress setup you should be able to go to Appearance > Menus and change the link there.
I hope that helps but let me know if you have any questions.

ParticipantHi teachdesign,
You can find this under Users > Your Profile > Eventbrite User Account
Let me know if you need anything else.

ParticipantHi Derek,
You should be able to target it with this:
.tribe-events-events-dropdown {
color: #000;
}
I hope that helps but let me know if you need anything else.– Jonah

ParticipantHi Dale-Anthony,
I’m still not able to reproduce this. What version of Roots are you running on? I tried it with 6.4.0 – setting things up in a staging environment would be helpful.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi bluecanoe,
We have this fixed in the next version which has not been release yet. Until it is, you can use this code modification here: https://gist.github.com/codearachnid/5371606
Please let me know if you have any questions or need anything else.
Thanks,

ParticipantHi lloydsilver,
Unfortunately no. It is on the list of bugs to fix in the future but I cannot provide an exact date as to when it will make it into a release.

ParticipantHi Dale-Anthony,
I just downloaded and installed the Roots theme and tried to recreate the issue and was not able to. Can you please provide me the exact steps necessary to reproduce this?
Thanks,

ParticipantHi Tim,
The first thing I would suggest trying is increasing the amount of PHP memory allocated. You can do that with one of the following techniques: http://www.dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/ – try that and let me know how it goes and we’ll proceed from there.

ParticipantHi wtl,
It looks like you must not even have a custom menu setup for your website. This is why everything would be greyed out. I would suggest reading up on setting up a custom menu first here: http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Menu_User_Guide – then, try creating a custom menu and then following the steps we provide.
Let me know if you need anything else.

ParticipantI hear that Brian, me too. If there’s anything else you need help with, please let us know.

ParticipantHi Dale-Anthony,
Very strange. Are you running the latest versions of both the core plugin and Pro? 2.0.11? Do you know what type of server you are on? Would you mind posting a private reply here, providing me access to your site so I can try to see what’s going on for myself? Can I deactivate plugins and switch the theme to play around with things?
Thanks,
JonahJonah
ParticipantHi Brian,
Sorry about the delay in getting back to you on this. Unfortunately this is not easily achievable right now in the 2.x code, but it will be easier in 3.0 which is coming out soon. The template tag will be filterable in 3.0 which means you’ll be able to detect if you’re on a category and modify the links accordingly if so. We cannot help you with this in 2.x but should be able to provide some pointers once 3.0 comes out.
Let me know if you need anything else.
