October 24, 2017 at 10:17 pm in reply to: How can you make the Organizer default be the logged in user who's submitting? #1368463JoannaParticipant
Hi,
Ok. Since you are accepting feature requests maybe that can be added as a suggestion then?
Reason being is because if user Alex creates an event… the event should automatically be under his account
Why? In order to a. Not be redundant by having to then scroll find/pick Alex … its an extra and redundant step
b. Prevent Alex from choosing organizer Bob etcOctober 24, 2017 at 10:12 pm in reply to: Enable Global Stock checkbox on Community Events page #1368461JoannaParticipantHi Cliff, yes that’s what i meant exactly..

July 24, 2017 at 3:41 pm in reply to: Event Aggregator: Overwriting previously imported items issues #1325507JoannaParticipantHi,
I did switch to “Overwrite my event with any changes from the original source.” only because I was worried that event updates like a picture update wouldn’t be updated.I think the wording “changes made locally will be preserved” confused me a little – I wasn’t sure if that meant that it would not touch any existing events, or if it would only overwrite changes to the local version..
Do you happen to know exactly?
(I wish it would just be clarified exactly if changes were updated/overwritten like it does in FTP, where only newly dated files will be updated vs everything will be updated by overwriting entirely)
Thank you for your help!

June 18, 2017 at 2:11 pm in reply to: Recurring Events Not Always Showing (priority) at TOP of List of Events? #1299800JoannaParticipantYes, you’re right and I see your point! Multiday at the bottom of each page wouldn’t workout that easily. Thank you for your help!
June 14, 2017 at 7:44 pm in reply to: Recurring Events Not Always Showing (priority) at TOP of List of Events? #1298234JoannaParticipantI think what would be more ideal would be for the multi-day events (sorry I didn’t label it right) to be shown at or near the bottom of that day’s event in the list.
There are 2 benefits for users I think:
1. They see different content for each day instead of always seeing the multi-day events over and over again first.
2. The event organizers cannot hog the spotlight so easily and for so long.June 14, 2017 at 3:54 pm in reply to: Recurring Events Not Always Showing (priority) at TOP of List of Events? #1298173JoannaParticipantHi, thanks for your help. No, I mean the frontend view – what the public sees when events are shown in List view, not in Monthly view.
If an event is every day from June 1-15th, it automatically shows at the top for every single day of June 1-15th.
(It takes attention away from the other non recurring events)

I’m sorry, I deactivated Community Events late last night because I think
it was causing long queries.
It is activated now, that page is up again. Thank you so much for any
insight! -
