MichaelParticipant
OH, and while I have you! When I share the link to my calendar on Facebook, this is the headline, which is pretty lame: Events Archive – GreaterPatchogue – greaterlongisland.com
Is there anyway to to make it read The GreaterPatchogue Calendar? Or whatever. I just want to change it from that. Try putting this link into a FB status update and you’ll see: https://patchogue.greaterlongisland.com/events/
Thanks for the help! And no problem about the delay. MIke

MichaelParticipantLooks like that worked! What do you think? CLICK: https://patchogue.greaterlongisland.com/events/community/add
Can we keep this ticket open for a few days though because I want to beta test. I just switched an every Wednesday event that was clogging up the calendar because the people entered it as running from like Jan. 1 through March 1 and there’s some weirdness.
MichaelParticipantJennifer I never heard back from you. Please please help. I’m sure it’s something simple I’m not doing.
MichaelParticipantAnd I went into the plugin pages and The Events Calendar settings pages for the subsites and don’t see where I can active Pro. Thanks again for the help.
MichaelParticipantThanks so much and the holidays were nice and relaxing. OK, so how do I activate pro? I went into the plugin page in my Network Admin and this is all I saw:

includes four subsites and one portal site, so I’m not sure how to pick
which three will be upgraded to PRO. And as of now it looks like none have
been upgraded.I know this because I tried to create an event and there was no option
recurring events, which was why I upgraded.Hope you can help. And, happy holidays. Mike
MichaelParticipantExcellent! Thanks sir. – Mike
MichaelParticipantI had the right key (I double checked) but now it appears to be working and
I’m not getting that prompt to purchase the add-on anymore. However I did just try to set up a scheduled important and got this message:
There was an error fetching the results from your import: undefined
MichaelParticipantOK, so i followed the directions but I’m still getting a couple error messages that appear to be related to the fact that I have a WordPress multi-site.
This error is in the Events Settings page:
Thank you! You have enabled a valid license. It looks like you are using this license within a multisite network. If you have 11 or more subsites, want network-level management, and/or require automatic updates, you need to upgrade to a multisite license. Read more about license options.
When read that, everything seems ok because I’m only using the Calendar on two subdomains.
HOWEVER, at the top of every page within my WordPress Dashboard, I get this message:
It looks like you’re using The Events Calendar: Community Events, but the license key you supplied does not appear to be valid or is missing. Please review and fix so that you can always have access to our latest versions! You can find your license keys by logging in to your account on theeventscalendar.com and you can enter them over on the settings page.
SO, this seems like mixed messages to me.
I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do. Thanks for your care and attention. – Mike
MichaelParticipantThis looks great. As soon as the new sites are live I will follow these steps. Is it OK to keep this forum in “I still need assistance” mode until I’m able to make the transfer successfully?

One last item, if you look at one of the events, the Facebook comments box is appearing right between the post about the event and the details of the event below the post.
No doubt this is because Facebook commenting plugin is recognizing the post as just that, a post. But I’m afraid people won’t know to scroll below the comments to get the details.
Any quick fix you could think of? Thanks, Brian.

This would be good because I wouldn’t know (yet) how to fix that error.
Thanks!
