Barry, I would like to thank you very much for your efforts however I am not able to carry on this fix attempt any longer. It has been by far one of the most frustrating situations I have ever been in .
I have now downloaded a free events plugin which is working perfectly with the theme and doing the very same job Modern Tribe’s plugin did, before it stopped working.
I am very grateful to you for your helpful tones and commitment to assisting me and I am sorry both you and I were unable to make it work again.I would like to request a refund of my Event Calendar Pro licence. The reason is, as you know, I do not feel I have done anything to my theme, or site overall, to cause any conflicts. It worked fairly well until the last update which, as users, are installed in simple good faith.
I also had many issues with this plugin at the start. The only way to update is by deletion and reinstallation, if you update from the WP UI then it rewrites the .htaccess file and breaks the site. This happened to me twice.Since paying the last licence fee there have been only 3 months usability from the plugin and although it is only a modest fee, I feel it would be appropriate for the fee to be refunded as a result of this unexpected breakage.
Please could you go ahead and arrange this for me, or if you are not adequately authorised to do so, could you please ask a member of Modern Tribe’s senior management team to contact me?

YooTheme have stopped responding to the support thread I opened. I am trying to get them to address your questions but its turning out to be very painful and difficult.What can I do? Our calendar STILL doesn’t work and I cant get support. You say its them, they said it’s you and stopped replying… is this just the way it is? 🙁
Just to advise I am still speaking to the theme developers regarding this issue. They requested your changelog which I have supplied. I will come back to you with their official line on the matter as soon as I can. Thanks.

Ok. So the plugin worked, now it doesn’t, but lets blame the theme. Right? This is the one thing I really dislike about WordPress. Developers blame themes, themes blame developers but the customer loses.
What will most likely happen here is that we will cancel Events Calendar Pro and find a plugin that works. I’m sorry, but this plugin worked fine until your last update, now it doesn’t.
All in all a very frustrating experience. Thanks for trying to help though.
I know you guys are busy and are doing your best to help, but could I politely request some faster assistance here? I registered this issue two weeks ago and the client is on the verge of cancelling my arrangement with them due to this problem. Sorry to push but I would really appreciate your assistance here. Sorry to push but can we get an answer here? This isn’t a small bug, this is stopping websites working, it’s essentially downtime. Are you able to fix this problem or not? I will need to find an alternative calendar provider if you are not able to. Thank you.
