February 13, 2014 at 1:55 pm in reply to: Facebook Events No Longer Importing/Times Incorrect #104265fredParticipantOnce more. I’m still having the exact same issue all of a sudden. I’m going to follow this thread in case you miraculously arrive at a solution.
February 13, 2014 at 1:21 pm in reply to: FB events imported with wrong, but consistently wrong, start / end times #104260fredParticipantI’m having this same exact issue and it just started a few days ago.
fredParticipantHi Brook,
I followed all your instructions: turned all plugins off, turned all plugins off and reverted to the 2011 theme. Still no success. How can I convert all the dates to UTC??
Since it worked for you, I wonder if it’ll work for you if you try it through our admin page.
Or
I wonder how https://tri.be/support/forums/users/mountainx/ solved it because he had the same issue and identified it as below:We’ve identified the issue. The export of our events contained the value NULL for start and end time if none was set. However your import script only checks if time is not empty and therefor attempts to convert a date time with NULL in the value. This function fails and returns a date from 1970.
Best,
FrederickfredParticipantThanks.
I’m desperately looking forward to getting some help with this.
fredParticipantFor instance will either of these work? https://gist.github.com/codearachnid/5371606 or
https://gist.github.com/codearachnid/3974181Can a developer confirm if either of these snippets will in fact enable our calendar to import the full event image, and not just a cropped version of it.
fredParticipantHi Julie,
I feel as though I’ve seen other posts with this same issue and they found a work around. I know I’m certainly not the only one experiencing this issue, can you please help me identify a temp fix that’s been provided by one of your developers (maybe referencing git hub or the sort) or even another user?
Thanks,
FrederickfredParticipantI tried that and nothing’s happening. Here is an event on our site, http://www.uniqulture.com/event/penn-state-football-the-signature-event/ and here is the original event on facebook.
https://www.facebook.com/events/1379722842272484/fredParticipantThanks Brook!
fredParticipantHi Brook,
Thanks for the response! Could you please recommend some developers for me?
Frederick
fredParticipantHi Julie,
Yes, Facebook Importer is up to date (version 3.3) so are Events Calendar Pro and Community Events.Might it mean that these events were imported much much earlier?
fredParticipantThanks Casey.
Is there any third party plugin that may allows for this?fredParticipantIf I have Events Calendar Pro, Community Events, & EventBrite Tickets (or) WooCommerce Tickets;
Will Community Organizers, upon submitting their events to the calendar, have the option to sell their event tickets from the calendar, just as I (the administrator) would? Thanks
fredParticipantHey Greggsky, what are the steps for the changing my theme to use the _title() instead of wp_title()…
Could you start from where in the admin interface I should go? 🙂
Thanks,
