It hasn’t been happening every time I have created reoccurring events. It hasn’t even happened when I created reoccurring events. I recently moved my website from one server to another and after that I have about 1/3 of my reoccurring events and the associated organizers (user created add-on pluggin) and venues had duplicates. I am guessing that I accidentally interrupted an update during the transfer or it was just an error during transfer. When I searched your support forum I noticed that others had a similar problem and various solutions which primarily focused on deleting and starting over. I tried to find an easier way and discovered that when I opened a duplicated event post to edit it (was checking to see what was different about posts that duplicated and those that did not) I couldn’t find anything wrong. So I just clicked update and the duplicates disappeared. I just wanted to let others who have had this problem know that this fix, while still a bit time consuming, was less time consuming than starting over. I will let you know if it happens again, but as for right now, this thread was mostly an fyi for other users.

IGNORE THAT LAST ADVICE!! while it seemed like a good idea, just opening the event and updating cleaned up all the duplicates.

Never mind… I don’t know why the dates were showing up wrong for some of some reoccurring events. I opened them to edit them, but everything looked right, so i just clicked update and everything corrected itself.

    Thanks for the SEO advice/info.
As for the dates, June 20 is not correct. When folks go to the main page, they are looking at a list of upcoming events. It is confusing when the event lists the first date of a reoccurring event and not the date of the next instance of it. When they look at the events list on the main page I want them to see today’s date, or tomorrow’s date for events, not a date from months ago. Does that make sense?

Thank you so much for your help this solved my problem. I was fully ready to find a new theme to work with because this calendar is just that good and I know that you guys aren’t under any obligation to help with theme conflicts. However, the CSS you provided worked perfectly. For other having the same problem with x-theme conflicting with the filter bar:
Adding the above CSS to the CSS spot at the bottom of the x-theme customizer did not work, adding it to the style.css did not work either, but the Simple Custom CSS plugin did work.

Thank you again, the support is wonderful.

Also playing around with the filter bar… the cost filter is not functioning at all. You can’t move it over, its stuck at zero, and its not filtering results based on that even. There are several events on the list that cost money and are still showing.

Okay, so for the sake of making sure it isn’t my theme, I did deactivate all additional plugins and reverted to the twenty fifteen theme. The plugins didn’t change anything, but the filter bar is visible on the twenty fifteen theme. However, it still covers up the header, nav bar, and html above the calendar when it opens, which is frustrating because I would prefer to have it set to be open when people go to the calendar.

I just installed the filter bar add-on and I too am having this problem and I am using a totally different wp theme, so I’m guessing it is not a theme related problem. The filter bar works fine in every size, except mobile view. When set for horizontal view and I click to open the filter bar is flashes and disappears and cuts off other html above it, leaving white space. If it is set for vertical view, then it opens and is partially visible, but only the last part, the rest appears to be cut off by the header and nav bar and is inaccessible, and again it covers the html I have above the calendar. Filter bar was the main reason I upgraded to The Events Calendar Pro (which is awesome by the way) instead of going with a different calendar plugin. Please Help!

    Please help!
