ParticipantI want to use this (or something like it) https://wordpress.org/plugins/automatic-post-tagger/
So that I can set a list of keywords that would automatically tag that event. This plugin seems to do it, but I cant get the events custom post type to register with it

ParticipantI am using EA to import these.
Ideally I can do this for each ical feed that I setup. Thanks for taking the time to look into it.
I think it would be very useful for other TEC customers as well.dswiese
ParticipantMeant to say the search on the url or ics file find the event I want to import.
Once it says it imported, there is no error message, so assuming it was successful, I am searching via the Event Admin page, the filter bar, and main website. and not finding the event listed anywhere.
Basically appears to disappear into nowhere. Is there a debug, or a log file I can find and submit?

ParticipantIts entirely possible that is the case, but my previous experience has been that the import page shows all events listed on a FB page, even before you try to do the import.
To clarify, even the listing of events it finds on my page is significantly lower than it has been in the past.
It used to show all 100 or so. I can probably even find events not currently listed that were previously imported.
Will check on that later today.PS: not sure what happened to the title of my post

ParticipantI could see it hiding the built in cost field if it was an event synced with EB, but this was creating a plain new event on my site with no connection to EB, other than the plugin was active.
If its a code snippet that others may find useful, please do post 🙂
My site is more an event aggregator, so I don’t always need to sync data from EB, and will just turn on the plugin as needed to do an initial sync. (Assuming I won’t loose any info in that event with the plugin turned off?)
Thanks!

ParticipantBrian – actually following up here again. based on https://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/3864177-enable-continuing-synchronisation-with-facebook-ev
Just confirming this is the re-sync button you mentioned, and not auto re-sync as it was requested (and mentioned was completed). might want to clarify that in the feature request.

ParticipantThat makes sense.
Thanks for confirming.Though, it might be nice to have a re-sync all FB events option?

ParticipantI have re-installed both The Event Calendar and The Events Calendar Pro plugins again.
Still no results – is it possible to find a log file, or turn on debug for the ical importer?
Please take note that the previous system information does show all the needed plugins installed
The Events Calendar PRO version 4.1.1 by Modern Tribe, Inc.(http://m.tri.be/20)
….
The Events Calendar: iCal Importer version 4.1.1 by Modern Tribe, Inc.(http://tri.be)
The Events Calendar version 4.1.1 by Modern Tribe, Inc.(http://m.tri.be/1x)
The Events Calendar: Facebook Events version 4.1 by Modern Tribe, Inc.(http://m.tri.be/22)
The Events Calendar: Filter Bar version 4.1 by Modern Tribe, Inc.(http://m.tri.be/25)
The Events Calendar: Venue/Organizer Shortcodes version 1.0 by Modern Tribe, Inc(http://theeventscalendar.com)dswiese
ParticipantThats a bit strange considering its never been deleted and I def have the calendar on my site
next step: I will delete and install a fresh download of the plugin.
