Thank you of the quick reply. I do see it showing up as the Event Tickets Plus in the downloads now. I didn’t realize that I had purchased a business license for it previously which means this one wasn’t needed but my mistake there.

Great suggestion! I didn’t even know the User Switching plugin existed. That may be just what we need.

    Thanks,

    Hello,

Unfortunately this did not work for me. I applied the code to the functions.php file and as you can see on this page I am able to RSVP for more than one person:

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Hi Shelby,

I used the code as-is. I’m sorry I didn’t realize that it needed to be modified. However, I went back to my functions.php file to remove the snippet of code that I placed at the bottom of the file and it isn’t there for some reason. I am though still getting the error message.

He is using Microsoft 2010 with outlook. Sorry my client told me it was the latest version.

Do you have anything I can do to locate the code since it is no longer in my functions file?

    Thank you,
    Crystal

    Hi Shelby,

    I used Barry’s code.

I am using the latest version of outlook.

This issue has been happening ever since I installed the Events Calendar plugin. However, the error message started a few days ago. Right after I put in Barry’s code.

    Thanks,
    Crystal

    Hi Shelby,

    Yes of course I can!

Previously before I put in the code from the article in the functions.php file:
    1. find an event on the events page.
    2. click the “ical” link to download.
    3. Open the downloaded file in Outlook.
    4. Rather than asking you which calendar you would like to put the event on it creates a new calendar for you. I am wanting to avoid this.

After I put in the code I received the error in the previously attached screenshot.

    Thank you,
    Crystal

    Hunter,

I asked WP Engine for a recomemndation of another calendar plugin to use and they sent me over this update:

    Hey Crystal,

Thanks for your patience while we looked into the issue of the Calendar not properly working on your copas install

I made a copy of this install onto clonewars.wpengine.com, an install of mine that doesn’t have demo mode enabled, and noticed that the calendar was still not working as intended. Through my testing I noticed that a custom URL is set for the Events menu link, /?post_type=tribe_events&tribe_event_display=list. When updating this URL to /events I was able to pull up this page without issue, and was able to navigate through the months correctly.

Applying this same update to your copas install I noticed that the page would 404, but upon updating the Permalinks setting to postname I was able to correctly pull up this page as well as navigate the calendar.

If you wouldn’t mind confirming everything is now working as intended, I think we can call this case-closed.

    Everything is working great now!

    Crystal

    Hi Hunter,

I updated the plugin to version 4.3.3 and I am still having the same issue.

There is not an SSL certificate installed on this site so I’m not sure how the SSL Insecure Content Fixer would be a help?

    Thank you,
    Crystal

    Hi Hunter,

I have been discussing this issue with wp engine support to try to resolve what is happening. I need to decide soon if this plugin is going to work for my client’s site or not. Also, I have a new site I’m working on that could benefit from this same plugin but if I can’t get this issue resolved it will be pointless for me to purchase again.

This is what I heard from wp engine support:
    Hi again Crystal,

Thank you for your patience in this process.

I have now tested the site in our staging environment (this environment does not have our caching or any conflicts in that manner). I am still getting the error where the months do not change and the same issues with the events calendar.

In the staging environment, I have also tested with all of the other plugins disabled and with the theme as a base wordpress theme. As the error still occurred in this fashion, this would rule out any plugin/theme conflicts.

As this rules out anything on the server or the site itself, this would lead me to believe this is an issue with the events calendar plugin directly. I would contact the developer again on this with this new info.

If they do find anything else we can look into on this side, though, we can definitely look into that.

If you have any other questions, please let us know, we are always here to help.

As you can see this is now the second developer who has told me that it is not a theme or plugin conflict. Can you please tell me what else can be done to fix this issue?

    Thank you,
    Crystal

    Hi Hunter,

I hired a developer to help me out with this to make sure the errors were being read correctly. Here is the feedback that I got:

There are no errors except in the admin interface and I’m not sure those are related to the event calendar. They look to be related to wp engine. If you log in you can see them. I think you need to go back to tech on this. If they want you to try more things, I can.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Crystal

    Hunter,

Thank you for the information. I followed all of the steps VERY closely for several hours this morning and tested and re-tested. I cannot find the conflict. Even with the 2016 theme active and all other plugins except for those by Modern Tribe disabled the alternate views is not working for me on Safari or Chrome after clearing all cache. Do you have any other things that I can try?

    Thank you,
    Crystal
