ParticipantFirenews – so sorry to hear you’re having issues. This is the first time I’ve ever heard of any host saying this about Community. It uses very little resources, even on a shared hosting environment.
My only suggestion would be to look at other hosting options, especially the WordPress approved ones here: http://wordpress.org/hosting/
I hope that helps, and let me know if you have further questions!
Casey
ParticipantBraffenberg – as a work around you can perform a template override by copying all of the views from ‘wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar-community-events/views’ to ‘wp-content/themes/YOUR_THEME_DIR/events/community’ and then modifying form.php in that directory.
The filter I gave before should be working, but I’ll let you know when I’ve heard back from our developer about the submit button issue. Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantGreat glad to hear it! I’m going to go ahead and close out this thread, but feel free to start a new thread if you have further questions. Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantThanks!

ParticipantBodin – glad you got this one sorted out! Unless you disagree, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.
We really appreciate your support and please let us know if you need anything else in the future. If you find yourself with a few minutes and would be so kind as to give us a “Works” rating or a positive star voting on the WordPress.org repo (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/the-events-calendar/), or even a shoutout to your followers on Facebook or Twitter, it would mean a lot to us. Thanks again for using the plugin.

ParticipantBraffenberg – Sorry for the delay, but it looks like our developer that is tagged to investigate this issue won’t be able to look into it until tomorrow. Please continue to stand by and I’ll let you know as soon as I know more. Thanks for your patience!

ParticipantThanks for reaching out. I’m sorry, but integration with the EventBrite add-on is not currently implemented in Community.
It looks like we also have some other users on our UserVoice page wanting this feature: http://tribe.uservoice.com/forums/195723-feature-ideas/suggestions/4339868-community-organizers-could-sell-tickets-receive-
Please go vote and make your voice heard there. We prioritize feature requests based on user demand, so that’s the best way for us to gauge priorities.
Thanks and please feel free to open up a new thread if you have further questions!

ParticipantSo sorry John! You should be able to subscribe to forum threads via email. Are you not receiving any emails?

ParticipantJohn/Braffenberg,
I’m seeing the same issue with the Submit button being disabled in my environment. Please stand by while I investigate further. Thanks!September 3, 2013 at 8:37 am in reply to: How to show Category descriptions in Community Events form #64235Casey
ParticipantUnfortunately that’s not currently possible. Feel free to submit this as a feature request on our uservoice page though: http://tribe.uservoice.com/
Thanks!
Casey
ParticipantTry this:
.result-selected {
color:#FFF !important;
}I hope this does the trick, as this is as much as I can help with you this issue, since it is related to your theme’s styling and not related to the plugin.
Good luck!

ParticipantThanks for confirming that this got you sorted. Unless you disagree, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.

ParticipantIrene – I think these errors are happening because the $other_options variable is possibly null. Try adding in an ‘is_empty’ conditional check before executing that ‘in_array’ check.
Since this is definitely a theme-related issue, that’s really all the support I can offer. Good luck and let us know if you have any other questions!
Casey
ParticipantIrene,
Could you paste the contents of your template-default.php file to something like pastebin, so I could take a closer look?Casey
ParticipantIrene – sorry to hear you’re having these issues. Can you give me a URL to look at where I could see this error? Thanks!
