ParticipantKaren,
Ok, thanks for the update. I’ll go ahead and leave this thread open, and we can continue troubleshoot once you have more time. Thanks! 🙂-Casey-

ParticipantKaren,
Did you see my response above? If you could try those steps and give me the event’s recurrence info, I’ll be able to investigate further.kdeganhart,
If your issue is the same as the above please do feel free to monitor this thread, but if you need assistance for your own specific scenario it would be great if you could create a fresh thread of your own. Thanks!-Casey-

ParticipantGreat! Thanks for confirming that this got you sorted. Since it looks like you’re all set, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.
By the way, if you have a minute or two, we would love it if you’d write a few words for us here: http://m.tri.be/lo

Participantygirod,
Glad to hear that you were able to resolve this one on your own, but you might also find this sample CSV file helpful as well.Since it looks like you’re all set, I’m going to mark this thread “Answered” and close it out.

Participantadwiz,
Thanks for getting in touch! You can perform a template override on the Related Events template file (events-calendar-pro/views/pro/related-events.php) in order to display the venue information using ‘tribe_get_venue()‘. To learn how to perform a template override, take a look at our themer’s guide.Hopefully that gets you pointed in the right direction to make this customization, but let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! 🙂

Participanttobek,
Thanks for getting in touch! It looks like your Venue taxonomy slug, is conflicting with our Venue Custom Post Type slug. You have a couple of options here:- Change the single slug of your custom taxonomy to be something besides ‘venue’
- Use the ‘tribe_venue_label_singular’ and ‘tribe_venue_label_plural’ filters to change the Venue Slugs to something else. (See item #3 on this post for an example of how to use it)
Give one of those a try and let me know if that resolves the issue for you. Thanks! 🙂

Participantastcit,
Thanks for getting in touch! As of version 3.7 of the Community Events add-on, you can customize the email contents by overriding the email template located in ‘views/community/email-template.php’. Take a look at our themer’s guide to learn more about overriding template files.Unfortunately, we don’t currently have a way to change the Subject line of the email that is sent. If this is something you’d like to see in a future release, I would suggest submitting it as an idea on our UserVoice page. Our team periodically reviews the most popular ideas for possible inclusion in a future release of the plugin.
Hopefully that gets you pointed in the right direction, but let me know if you have further questions. Thanks! 🙂

Participantballstonjournal,
Thanks for getting in touch and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. Could you try testing for conflicts and let me know what you discover? I suspect that this might be an issue related to your theme or a plugin conflict, but want to confirm before troubleshooting further. Thanks! 🙂

Participantpersyst,
Thanks for getting in touch! I’m noticing that you have some template overrides (located here), that might also be the source of the issue. Could you try testing for conflicts and let me know what you discover? I suspect that this might be an issue related to your theme or a plugin conflict, but want to confirm before troubleshooting further. Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantYaroslav,
Thanks for getting in touch! The Community Events add-on just uses a standard WordPress user account. I can’t speak to the AIT Directory theme, as I’m not very familiar with that theme, but you might consider reaching out to the developer to get their input.Hope that helps! Thanks! 🙂

ParticipantJared,
Thanks for reaching out, and sorry to hear you’re having trouble here, but hopefully I can help. We’ve definitely gotten a lot of feedback on this issue (here’s the UserVoice thread), and are aware of the problem that this is creating for users. Our development team is actively working on a solution to this problem for a future release. While I don’t have an estimate of when this might be released, as a temporary workaround you could require users to be registered in order to submit events. While I know this isn’t ideal, it will eliminate the spam issue.
Thanks for being patient with us on this issue, and hopefully we’ll have some updates on this issue soon!

Participantjsoto22,
Thanks for getting in touch! Unfortunately, the functionality you’re describing isn’t currently supported by the plugin. However, if this is something you’d like to see in a future release, I would suggest submitting it as an idea on our UserVoice page. Our team periodically reviews the most popular ideas for possible inclusion in a future release of the plugin.Hopefully that answers your question, but let me know if I can assist further. Thanks! 🙂
