That fixed the form. So it’s just a question of how to add the submit button somewhere at the top of the calendar view. If I see how to do that, I should be able to figure out how to add it to one or two other views.
Thanks!Also, now that I scroll down to the bottom of the Submit Event form, I see all organizers, Venues, Countries, etc. are listed. They’re not in a drop-down menu.

I thought gridview.php might not exist anymore, but didn’t have any luck looking around for another place to put the submit button code I found on other threads, except bar.php. That didn’t seem to work.I will read the Themer’s Guide. When all else fails, read the instructions, right?!
What I’m trying to do is put a Submit Button at the top of the month, and possibly other, views so people can click it and submit an event. Right now I have a link that says “Submit Event”, but a styled button would look better.
Just don’t know how to do it.
Hope you’ll continue looking for a fix. I really depend on all purchased levels of the Calendar and additional calendar plugins. Really don’t want to have to give up my theme OR go to something like Google Calendar. Been using your calendar for years and was so excited about the new release! I’ll check back now and then to see if anything’s happening. Thanks.
Hi Leah. I ended up needing to update my theme, so have disabled The Events Calendar Pro. Hopefully I’ll be able to use the calendar again if you all can figure it out or work with Headway Themes on a resolution. Thanks.
Hi Leah. I’ve uninstalled the newest version of the Headway Theme and re-installed the one just previous.
The Events Calendar is now working!
Hope the issue can be resolved with Headway. Let me know if you’d like me to contact them.
Okay. I’ve done that and the /events page isn’t working. I’m going to look at other plugins again to be sure that’s not the problem. Thanks.
Just to be sure I understand. This would be downgraded The Events Calendar, not The Events Calendar Pro? Would I need to deactivate Pro, Category Colors and Community Events until there is a possible fix?

Didn’t get that from last response. Today – Monday = all good! Just really happy that there is a fix! 🙂Thanks Leah. I am beginning to stress a bit as the event calendar is a pretty important part of my site. I’ve been working on it today, trying everything I can think of – to no avail.
So frustrating because it was working fine and I was really happy with the latest release.

Looks like there are even bigger problems after the latest Headway update. My calendar isn’t showing at all now. I haven’t had a lot of time to really attack it to see if I can fix it.I’ve been working with the Headway folks for years and have found them easy and responsive to work with. I’d be happy to introduce you via email.
