Hi Barry,
there is no issue with choice of categories: Reason is our custom-built form edit-event.php.But in mine opinion the solution with the listbox is not so good, because the choice of many categories is more expensive as before with checkboxes.

I just updated TEC.
Now nearly all translations are ok.
Only “add” is not translated as “hinzufügen”, so that the form cannot be loaded with “…/veranstaltungen/community/hinzufuegen” (for example).Just seen, that two terms are not translated and don’t exist in pot-file:
a) no matches found
b) searchingBut there seem to be an great issue with the choice of categories. I will check it still and will write a new ticket if necessary.

all missing terms are now translated (I’m very hopefull, all translations(german) are ok).- Using Catalog > Update from pot file
- Translating any missing string
- Replacing existing .po and .mo files in the /lang/ folder.
I would upload PO- and MO-files in my owncloud and could send the link, if you want.

you are right: it seem to work with- TEC 4.5.1
- TEC Pro 4.4.7
- TEC Community 4.4.5
But datepicker seem not working with new pre-releases.
