Hi Sky, I found the answer!
After much searching I found the instructions and code to fix the problem with Genesis, perhaps the StudioPress created themes has the code already in the function files and the Third Party ones do not by default. However adding the code that is one this page fixed the problem, it was just a bit hard to find the solution, but now it works! – https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/genesis-theme-framework-integration/
thank you

I now see that my issue is on the Event page and is there even if Events Pro is deactivated. I found more info on my issue on the support for the no-Pro version – https://wordpress.org/support/topic/calendar-not-showing-on-events-page-2/
Any way to get this conflict fixed?
Liz KochParticipantYes, this code worked! Shayne, it goes in the Theme function file, not in the CSS code.

I did do a search for this issue before I opened this thread, but that thread did not come up in the search, but it did the trick of removing the QR code.
Liz KochParticipantThank you Geoff, it looks like the issue will be resolved with the new feature, so for now I will add the custom field to include the different days and times for must-day events.
