GuestWe are interested in switching from All in one Event Calendar to your product.
We would need to be able to import all events, and also have the ability for site visitors to submit events from a submission form.
Will I need to purchase the importer & community events add ons separately from the Pro Bundle?
Thank you, Malcolm

MemberGood evening Malcolm and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions. We would need to be able to import all events,
We offer a built-in CSV importer with the Events Calendar free version.
If you have more advanced needs (Google Calendar/iCal or Facebook importers, meetup), you will want to take a look at our event aggregator service: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/event-aggregator/
We even have a dedicated plugin to deal with Eventbrite events and tickets importing: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-eventbrite-tickets/
and also have the ability for site visitors to submit events from a submission form.
This can be achieved by our Community Events Plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-community-events/
Will I need to purchase the importer & community events add ons separately from the Pro Bundle?
That is a great question. At this point I am not sure if you need or are interested in the feature of the Events Calendar Pro as well: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/
If you are, than perhaps the cheapest solution would be to get the importer bundle and Community events separately: https://theeventscalendar.com/bundles/
Best of all, you can try these risk-free.
This is because you are entitled to a refund as long as you are within 30 days of your purchase.
To obtain the refund, you just need to follow the procedure described here.Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

MemberHey Malcolm,
Thank you for writing back.
I can accomplish #1 using this? https://theeventscalendar.com/product/ical-importer/
Actually the ical importer plugin has been replaced by the Events Aggregator service. It is much more robust and constantly updated.
Furthermore, we are currently phasing out the iCal importer, so I would not recommend purchasing it at this point.
I can accomplish #2 using this? https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-community-events/
Absolutely.
I can accomplish #3 using this? https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-events-calendar-pro/
You are right once again.
How can I accomplish #4?
This can be accomplished using the Events Calendar Pro: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/embedding-calendar-views-tribe_events-shortcode/
So in short, your best bet is to get the Importer Bundle and Community Events.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!
