I see according to this article, Venues and Organizers exist and can be reusable for event creation.

Can a user create a Venue in a front end form? Or does this require access to the admin panel?

Can an Organizer simply be the current user, with a link to their BuddyPress profile?

    Thanks!

Rather, I meant I read this article to learn more about Venue and Organizer capabilities:

    Hi Aprille,

Thanks so much for reaching out and for your interest in our products!

With Community Events, users can create a new venue from the front-end of your site.

Technically, an Organizer is a custom post type, not a WordPress user, so it cannot be the current user unfortunately.

TheĀ https://theeventscalendar.com/extensions/hide-others-organizers-and-venues-in-community-events/ extension can come in handy to show users only the Organizers and Venues they previously created.

Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!

    Thanks,

    Jaime
