Please help us solve this issue!
It’s messing up the admin dashboard and makes check-in troublesome!

Attached the dashboard and the actual ticket. Immediate assistance will be much appreciated as we are launching the website for an important event very soon.

    Hi there Ken,

Thanks for getting in touch with us! And for sending over the screenshots. Seems there’s something wrong going on, let’s look into it.

First step is to follow the steps described in our Testing for conflicts guide. This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins. So with default theme and no other plugins active, please try to make a new purchase.

Also, it would be great if you could share your system information with me so I can check if everything looks right on that end.

Please let me know about it,
    Best,
    Nico

    Hi Nico,

After exhaustive testing with and without our current theme and all plugins, I notice it’s a strange random issue. It works fine with all my theme and plugin now. But sometimes it doubles up the ticket count. Woocommerce displays it correctly. Problem is only in the “view attendees” section of the ticket page where there is a duplicate doubled up entry.

Thanks for following up Ken! This seems to be a pretty tricky issue.

Taking a look at your system information, my guess is this might be an issue with the qTranslate-X plugin. Could you reproduce the issue when this plugin and WooCommerce & qTranslate-X are inactive?

Please let me know about it,
    Best,
    Nico

    Hi Nico,

Thank you for the suggestion. I tried booking test ticket with and without these plugins. It doubles when Qtranslate is active and works normal when I deactive. Kindly suggest a work around for this.

Thanks for following up Ken! Good job trouble shooting this.

Could you verify if the issue is caused by qTranslate-X or WooCommerce & qTranslate-X plugin?

I’m not super familiarized with qTranslate-X plugin but this support thread indicates that specific post-types can be excluded from being translated. Can you please check if you have the option to disable qTranslate-x for attendees and tickets?

Please let me know about it,
    Best,
    Nico

Hi Nico. The issue is not reproduced if WooCommerce Qtranslate is disabled. Not sure of what causes it though. and WooCommerce & Qtranslate is currently not important for our site. But looks like both cannot be used together until this issue is fixed.

As I typed the previous msg, It doubles up again with WooCommerce & QTranslate-x disabled. This is a headache!

Thanks for the update Ken, and sorry to hear about the struggle with this issue 🙁

We currently only support WPML for multilingual sites, so the help I can provide on this qTranslate-X issue is a bit limited. Have you tried to disable the ticket and attendees post types? I see this might be the simplest way to fix this, just telling qTranslate-X to ignore those post-types.

Also, if this is not vital right now you might want to test this in a dev or staging server, where you can run tests without affecting the live site users.

Have you tried posting in the qTranslate-x support forum about the issue as well?

Please let me know about this,
    Best,
    Nico

Hi Nico. As a last try, I disabled qtranslate for “portfolio” and created another ticket in portfolio type.
    Please find the screenshot attached.

Also, do you have any idea of changing from qtranslate to wpml? will it involve a lot of re-work?

Thanks for following up Ken! Sorry to hear this is still a pain for you 🙁

As a last try, I disabled qtranslate for “portfolio” and created another ticket in portfolio type

The ones to disable are tribe_wooticket, tribe_rsvp_attendees, ticket-meta-fieldset and tribe_rsvp_tickets, probably products too, which are all disabled. It seems that the plugin qTranslate-X is not respecting the post_types settings and that’s something to highlight if you decide to contact their support team.

Also, I notice something funky in your screenshot → https://cloudup.com/cSK-XTgA54R Is the preferix OrderID- something you configured? I don’t see it in my order screen so not sure about it.

Also, do you have any idea of changing from qtranslate to wpml? will it involve a lot of re-work?

I’m not sure about it, Do you have your content in more than one language and need to migrate that? If you don’t I guess it’s just setting the plugins up as shown in Setting up The Events Calendar with WPML and Creating translations for events using WPML.

    Best,
    Nico

    Hi Nico,

My wordpress by default faces problem sending mail. So I have configure an SMTP plugin. I noticed that if the SMTP is disabled, then this issue is not reproduced. Is this some clue?

Regarding order ID, it is always added by default in woo-commerce.

Also qtranslate doesn’t display multi lingual windows for portfolio types. So it actually reflects the changes.
