GuestIs it possible to create separate calendars on separate pages so that Community event organizers can have their own cal, on a separate page on our site? If this is possible can we also have a main calendar on the site that all the separate calender’s would feed into?

MemberHey Stan,
Absolutely! Community Events includes the ability for those who submit events to see a list of their events–though I should note that they need to be registered members of the site and logged in for the calendar to be able to know which events to show that person.
If this is possible can we also have a main calendar on the site that all the separate calenderโs would feed into?
The Events Calendar itself is the main calendar for all events on the site. Community Events adds an event submission form to the site and, once an event has been submitted to Community Events, it will be displayed in the main calendar view, where all published events are displayed.
Does this help answer your questions? Please let me know. ๐
Cheers!

GuestThank you for the fast reply, the question:
Is it possible to create separate calendars on separate pages so that Community event organizers can have their own cal, on a separate page on our site? What I meant here was is there shortcode to, say, create a separate page for a Community – Say YMCA and the YMCA would have an events page on our site that only shows their events – IE:
http://oursite.com/YMCA_EVENTS
Then say we had another community called Highland Brewery – IE:
http://oursite.com/Highland_Brewery_EVENTS
And so on – Hope that makes more sense…

MemberThat does make more sense — thanks for clarifying!
I’m afraid that there is not a shortcode like that in Community Events. However, Events Calendar PRO does include pages specifically for Venues and Organizers to show a list of events tied to the venues and organizers linked to a specific event.
There is a nice overview of those pages right here in this post:
Does that help clear things up a bit more? Please let me know. ๐
Cheers!

GuestOk great, so just to be sure I understand correctly before purchase:
1. Events Calendar PRO will give Organizers and Venues their own page and show up and coming events specific to their Venu?
2. Events Calendar Community is part of the Event Calendar Pro or is this a separate purchase?Thank you very much for replies so far!

MemberGreat questions!
1. Events Calendar PRO will give Organizers and Venues their own page and show up and coming events specific to their Venu?
Yes, spot on. That is correct.
2. Events Calendar Community is part of the Event Calendar Pro or is this a separate purchase?
Community Events is a completely separate plugin and would need to be purchased in addition to Events Calendar PRO.
I’ll also add that all our products come with a full refund within 30 days of purchase, should they not work out as you’d expect. ๐
Any other questions I can help with? Let me know!
Cheers,
