I have recently installed and activated both Pro and WooTickets and am now trying to add tickets for my events.
On the event admin panel I can create a ticket and save it, after which it gives me a success message that the ticket has been saved. This is the only thing visible after the creation, along with the Add new ticket button, but no listing or link for the actual ticket appears.
I tried updating the event and checked the front end just to be sure, and no visible tickets in the public event posting either.
Had a bit of a read through previous threads and thought this might have been due to an end date issue etc., however I have checked the related settings and this doesn’t seem to be the case either.
Is there anything else you could think of that might be causing this glitch?

    Hi Robert,

Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear about this issue! I’ll help you figuring out what’s happening here…

Lets start by testing for conflicts, Can you please follow the steps described in this guide? This way we can see if this is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.

Also, It would be great if you could share your system information with me so I can check if everything looks right on that end.

Please let me know about your findings,
    Best,
    Nico

    Hi Robert,

Thanks for following-up! Right now the integration of our products with WPML is limited to The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO. Barry suggest a possible solution here, basically to disable translation for the products post type. Not sure if that solution will work for your case.

If you think this a show stopper for your site, you can always request a refund via email to support at this domain within 30 days of purchase.

Please let me know if disabling products post type translation makes the tickets from work,
    Best,
    Nico

Is there a way to disable the translations just for WooTickets or is the only way to disable it for all Woo Products? We don’t necessarily need the translations for the Events tickets, however it would be essential to have that available for other types of products we will be selling in our Woo shop.
Also, following Barry’s instructions, I was actually unable to find anywhere an option to disable/enable translations for products. I only found ways to edit translations for individual products etc. but even then couldn’t find a checkbox for that.
I looked through all WPML, WooCommerce and Products settings.

    Robert,

Thanks for following up once again 🙂

Is there a way to disable the translations just for WooTickets or is the only way to disable it for all Woo Products?

I guess not as translation is set by post type and Event Ticket are regular woo products. So not possible to disable it just for tickets.

I was actually unable to find anywhere an option to disable/enable translations for products.

Take a look at this article from WPML, it’s about enabling and not disabling but I guess you’ll get the point: https://wpml.org/faq/how-to-translate-custom-types/

Hi Robert, did you finally find how to fix the problem? I have the same problem and I can’t use the woocommerce ticket in my site.

    Thank you

    Hey Emilio,

Thanks for jumping in here too!

Let’s see if Robert can confirm if disabling translations for the product post-type helps. Could you try that yourself?

    Best,
    Nico

    Hi,

Disabling WPML for products is not an option for me at this point. Hopeful that your new update along with the new Event Tickets and Plus may help out with the situation, I updated and installed these and tested the new ticket function with WPML activated – unfortunately the issue still persists. Would you be able to tell me if this is something that is currently getting fixed or if I shouldn’t expect any changes to this for a while?

    Thanks!

    Hey Robert,

Sorry to hear about that 🙁 This is something the team is not working on right now. It certainly is under our radar but not sure this will happened in the near future.

If you feel this is a show stopper you can request a refund (within 30 days of purchase) to support at this domain.

Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you,
