GuestHi guys,
we are a non profit organization which organizes larp events for children and for beginners at cost prices. We are a group of 21 voluntary workers and we are planning to build up a small wordpress site to make it easier to take part in our events and give us and interested persons a overview about whats coming next, with short articles about old events and the hobbie itself. Also our members should be able to create events and flag them as “children only” or for “beginners” without having to use the website backend. And maybe a facebook sync. Due to my research i found your product, but i have some open questions.
Functionalities:
Which plugins do we need for the above descibed functionalities?
Does the Community Manager Bundle contain these or are there additional plugins we need?Pricing:
Is there a possebility for a discount for non profit organizations or is the bundle price fixed?
What happens after a year of payment? Do we have to pay every year or do we keep our license and we just loose support?
This is a major point for us, because we have a limited budget every year and cant spent 299$ every year because it is more than half of it after rents and other running costs.
It would be great if we can purchase it once create a running site and if we aren’t changing anything it would keep running. and mybe after some years pay again and make steps forward into a newer version.Greetings Benjamin

KeymasterHi Benjamin,
Thanks for checking out our plugins!
Community Events will let users submit events from the front end of your site, and they could event categories/tags to mark them as being for children or beginners. Regarding syncing with Facebook, there is not currently a way to sync your website calendar to Facebook, but Event Aggregator will let you import events (manually or scheduled) from Facebook.
These two plugins (or just Community Events if you do not want to import from Facebook) in conjunction with our free plugin The Events Calendar (which is required for Community Events) should get you most of the functionality you’re looking for – If you wanted users to also create and sell tickets on those events, then you would need Community Tickets as well as Event Tickets Plus.
We do not offer discounts for non-profits, but we do have a Nonprofit Partnership Program that offers free versions of Events Calendar Pro and Event Tickets Plus to approved organizations.
The premium licenses are valid for one year, which means that during that time you are able to update the plugin and have access to premium support in the forums. After the year, you will no longer be able to update or post in the support forums, but the plugins on your site will not be affected. However, it is important to note that if you continue updating WordPress and the other plugins on your site, you may run into compatibility issues with Community Events over time if that plugin is not also updated. If you wanted to, you could wait to renew until you need to update the plugin.
Event Aggregator is actually a service, not a plugin that you install on your site, so you would no longer be able to import without renewing the license after one year.
I hope that helps clear things up! Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jennifer

GuestHi thanks a lot for your fast answer.
We will apply for the two via the form but in addition we wanted to use Community Events and Tickets with Filter Bar to give a possibility to search for events. Even with the non profit program there is no cheaper way than the Community Manager Bundle am I right?
If there are no other ways to give a discount, I would try to work with the other to first and maybe upgrade later on.Thanks for your time.

KeymasterHi Benjamin,
You are correct, the NPP only applies to Events Calendar Pro and Event Tickets Plus. We do occasionally do promotions, so I would definitely recommend subscribing here to stay in the loop!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
