ParticipantFollowing up on https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/recurring-event-still-wont-finish-posting/ – I finally have a staging site set up. Is there any chance you can log in here and see if we can find a solution to the problem?
I will send you a login privately next. Thank you!

ModeratorWelcome back,
I see in your System Information you have PRO and Filter Bar versions 4.3.4 and 4.3.5 for TEC. Can you please update to the most recent versions available, then test again with your site in the state outlined in the Testing for conflicts guide while ensuring WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG are enabled on your site’s wp-config.php file?
Any errors will display at the top of your page as you try to reproduce the conflict. I also recommend right-clicking your mouse and opening the ‘Inspect’ tool to see if any errors display in the console. Note what you find and please include it in your reply.
My last question: are the issues you’re experiencing now the same issues you were experiencing back when you initially opened a thread about it back in November?
Rest assured we’ll find out if you’re either being affected by a known issue or if there is something we’re unaware of. Please note that you need to be testing with the default WP theme and only our plugins active. We aren’t able to provide support for conflicts with either custom themes or plugins by other authors.
Thanks and have a great rest of your day. Cheers!

ParticipantSo here’s problem #1. This is a staging site, and we only have one license of Pro & Filter Bar. So am I supposed to buy extra licenses for staging so I can update the plugins here? We’re a non-profit – we can’t throw money around like that…

ParticipantI’m looking in my live account where the license keys are active. Why is the plugin library not telling me there are updates available for my EC plugins…? Normally, that information shows up here and I can just click to update. Why is this feature not working on my site? It’s not easy to know when updates are available if they don’t show up here…

ModeratorHey and welcome back!
There is no need to purchase any additional licenses in this instance. Simply review our Using One License for Live and Dev Sites Moving your license keys tutorials and let me know if you’re able to manage.
In response to updates not appearing on your live site, it’s a bug we’re aware of and are nearing the release of a maintenance release which includes a fix. I’ll add this forum thread to the report which means we’ll typically update you here when that fix is available. It’s always best to keep an eye on the Release Notes as well.
Keep me updated and have a pleasant remainder of your weekend. Chees!

ModeratorHello,
I’d love to log in but we’re unable to log into customer sites for any reason. Let’s try and start at square 1: your initial issue is that “recurring events still not working.” Can you please elaborate on what the issue is? I’ll also need you to confirm the behavior occurs as outlined in the Testing for conflicts guide. I checked out the screencast you shared with me (which didn’t end up actually playing for me), and it appears you have a custom theme and additional plugins active.
Can you please try creating another screencast, this time with the default WP theme and only our plugins to see if the behavior persists? As of right now, we don’t have any logged bugs resembling the issue you’re having with recurring events.
Thanks and have a good evening!
