Hi, looking for a event/calender/bookingsystem that can handle these functions.
    – WPML multi-language support (or embedded) (dutch / german / english)
    – Must be able to handle (future) payments via payment providers (ideal / sofort, etc.)
    – Reservation on special days only (meetings / events based)
    – Reserve based on available time in a calendar during the day of event, with extra/free field options
    – Reserve without creating an account
    – Supported for Google Maps view of location of event
    – If possible, have a time duration option, that is;
    – Customer comes with X products and we then need Y time to handle/process it. The system should then be able to calculate how much time the customer has to reserve in the calendar (ie start time + processing time)
    – Processing of reservation and confirmation mail, reminder, etc. Multilingual.
    – 1 Event must be shown in multiple languages and also by NL / The customers can be booked.

Can TEV pro be a possible solution and if so which products are needed? Thanks D.

    Hi Daan,

Thanks for checking out our plugins!

I’ll take the features you mentioned one at a time…

    – WPML multi-language support (or embedded) (dutch / german / english)

We have a guide here outlining which of our plugins support WPML, and our plugins do also come with translations.

We have a few guides on translations that I would recommend taking a look at:

Changing the Language on Your Calendar

    Translating The Events Calendar

How to Override Plugin Language Files

    Incomplete Translations

We are working on expanding WPML support, hopefully to be released later this year.

    – Must be able to handle (future) payments via payment providers (ideal / sofort, etc.)

All payment processing is handled either through WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads, both of which are free third-party plugins. WooCommerce comes with several built-in payment options, such as PayPal and Stripe, and it looks like they have a premium plugin for iDeal, Sofort, and some other options.

    – Reservation on special days only (meetings / events based)

For reservations, our free Event Tickets plugin has you covered. You can create multiple reservations (unpaid tickets essentially) for whichever events you need.

    – Reserve based on available time in a calendar during the day of event, with extra/free field options

The best way to handle this would be to create multiple tickets (reservations) for the times you would like to allow people to register for – you can set a cap on the number available for each ticket. For adding custom fields that attendees need to fill out when reserving a ticket, you would need Event Tickets Plus (which also allows you to sell tickets on your site).

    – Reserve without creating an account

Requiring users to be logged in to reserve/purchase tickets is an option that is available in both Event Tickets and Event Tickets Plus.

    – Supported for Google Maps view of location of event

This is supported in the free and Pro versions. For each event, you can choose if you would like to display the Google map for the venue on the event page.

    – If possible, have a time duration option, that is;

    – Customer comes with X products and we then need Y time to handle/process it. The system should then be able to calculate how much time the customer has to reserve in the calendar (ie start time + processing time)

If I understand correctly, you want to make sure people can’t buy tickets so close to the event that they won’t be able to get them in time? If this is the case, you can set a “start sale” and “end sale” for each ticket that you create. There is not currently another kind of “timer” around allowing users to buy tickets or not. However, since WooCommerce/EDD handles checkout, this means that you can use plugins that work with the eCommerce platform you are using. So you could use a plugin like WooCommerce Cart Stock Reducer to “expire” items from the cart after a certain amount of time.

If that’s not what you mean, could you please clarify what you are looking for here?

    – Processing of reservation and confirmation mail, reminder, etc. Multilingual.

Users will receive an order confirmation email (from your eCommerce platform) and an email with the tickets they reserved/purchased. Regarding reminder emails, they are not built in to the plugin, but you can set them up using a third party plugin (see this post for more information). Tickets are not currently supported with WPML (again, we hope to release further support for tickets later this year), but our translation files would apply to tickets. For emails coming from other plugins, you would need to set up translation there.

    – 1 Event must be shown in multiple languages and also by NL / The customers can be booked.

Are you looking for one event to be displayed in multiple languages all on the same page? This is not supported out of the box, but could be achieved with a customization. We do not currently do customizations, but our themer’s guide has some great info on customizing our plugins if you’d like to give it a shot! We also have a list of recommended developers if you’d like to get help with the code.

I also want to mention that we do offer a full refund within 30 days of purchase if you’re not satisfied with the products, so feel free to test them out!

If you have any more questions or need any clarification, please let me know!

    Thanks,

    Jennifer

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
